Old, but funny
| I saw this movie more than five years ago and i recently bought it a while ago and i still think it's a good movie. It's old, but i still found it funny. Some people may find this movie to be stupid and i agree that some of it is. There really isn't a big point to the movie. If you're into a good comedy and a little bit of action, then this movie would be a good choice. |

Expected more

My parents have the vhs version and I bought this dvd version so that I can have a copy with me. I was disappointed. Though the movie is funny in general, this dvd had cut out 4 great scenes. 1. They cut out most of the Olympics scene 2. They cut out the part where the youngest sister pretends to have a baby to trick Ekin 3. They cut out the part where Tony Leung does a drama where he is dying 4. THE BOWLING SONG!! So annoyed that they cut out the bowling song. I was so disappointed with the dvd. If you haven't seen this movie before, it wont really matter and you might want to buy it (it is still funny overall). But if you've seen it before (the original version) then you will be mad. |

Funny, Funny Film...Must See
|
VERY funny film. Pretty average set-up, but the talented actors make it great. Tony Leung Kar Fai is one of my favorite actors. Not only is he the most beautiful man ever put on this earth, but he has to be one of the most versatile performers going. In this film he is the "King of Gigolo Karaoke". He shines in one of his most outrageous and hysterically over-the-top roles. He is paired with a very straight laced police woman (played by Brigitte Lin, the eldest of three daughters of the "dieing" father, played by Richard Ng). The accompanying antics are priceless. The second daughter (Maggie Cheung) is an innocent sweetie pie who brings home a Triad youth played by the strange and wonderful Jacky Cheung. He is attempting to kill off her police woman sister for his gang. Third sister is a doctor (Chingmy Yau) who's lady patient is trying to set doc up with her handsome, virgin son (Ekin Cheng in a role where he actually shows emotion!). The doctor isn't having any of it until she meets the young man at the gym and he mistakes her for a hooker. If this sounds goofy, it is! And it just gets better from here. Perennial bad guy, Ken Lo, is on hand as a despicable "tough", and heart throb Jimmy Lin is the girl's younger brother, who doesn't have much to do but look cute. You need to see it to appreciate the slapstick humor, but dont miss it! Keep an eye out for Jacky Cheungs gang in the Triad Olympics and the wonderful skits by my fave Tony Leung KF as a karaoke hula dancer, suave gunman, Bruce Lee wannabe and singer of the incredible Bowling Song! Urinate before the film you might have an accident laughing! |

| i bought this movie because i watched it before and thought it was very funny and also i am a big fan of Tony Leung Ka Fai and Jimmy Lin so i thought it would be cute to have this vcd in my movie collection but i totally regret buying it because the vcd quality is very poor. the picture is not clear at all. it is blurry and look static like the tv is not clear and cannot fix it. the vcd quality is extremely poor. was very disappoint. |

Good but
| This movie is good, there are some funny scenes. Tony Leung (Leung Ka Fai) is really funny as the gigolo who gets beaten up by Bridgette Lin who is a top cop in Hong Kong. The only thing with this vcd is that the quality was not good. The picture was fuzzy. Dont know why. But this movie is good. |

great movie, but deleted scenes
|
Great comdey, but this DVD that I bought from yeasasia is only 86 min long and have 2 scenes deleted. Very disappointing. The video transfer is average and the audio is below average, there is a "whooshing" noise when there should be no sound at all. |

Good Movie, poor dvd
| Boys Are Easy is a great comedy movie which will keep you laughing till the end. It's a sweet story about a father who wants his 3 daughters to find boyfriends and get married soon. First daughter (Brigette Lin) is a police officer who is very tom boyish, knows great kung fu and can fight any man that comes her way. She asks Tse Sai (Tony Leung Ka Fai) who is a gigolo to pretend to be her boyfriend. Second daughter (Maggie Cheung) is a very sweet optimistic girl who likes Wu Ying (Jacky Cheung) who is a triad member who is always getting into trouble, his mother is played by Law Lan. Third daughter (Chingmy Yau) who is a doctor. Mrs. Lee is one of her patients. Mrs. Lee is very wealthy and has a son (Ekin Cheng) who is in his late 20s and still a virgin, she wants to introduce her son to Chingmy. Other appearances: Jimmy Lin, Wu Fong, Yuen King Dan, and some others whom I don't know their names but are familiar with their faces from tv series. The movie has a simple plot, it's very funny and very touching. The only thing that wasn't so great was the dvd quality, it skipped a lot in the beginning and wasn't so clear. Better to get the vcd version. |
