Another disappointment with director Chang Cheh besides his "Legend of the fox" ! Poor script which did not have a theme for the entire movie. Definitely a waste of Fu Sheng's talent in this movie as he was restricted to his role played.

THE INFAMOUS FINALE Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I have anxiously awaited Celestials release of this film for the finale and the finale only.Although prior to House of Traps this is actually the last time that Lu Feng,Chiang Sheng and Kuo Choi will ever appear in a Shaw film together.The movie is strange and the plot is actually boring, but the finale is worth the wait.It is a shame that Chiang Sheng and Lu Feng are only in the end,but the choreography is of course top notch.

A treat for Venoms fans Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
The 4th Brave Archer film, had previously remained unseen by all but a few dedicated followers of kung fu films who managed to track it down, or catch it at the cinema when it 1st came out. That is until now, Celestial have released it in all its glory. And its not a dissapointment, an excellent job has been done. The story does follow on from the other "Brave Archer" films, but rather confusingly the cast has changed. Kuo Chui now plays the role Fu sheng had. The storyline perhaps isnt quite as good as previous films, but its still good, & that isnt the point. The point here is the kung fu, delivered by the finest choreogrophers & physical performers Shaws ever had - the Venoms. As with other Venoms films its a treat, full of the insane action & moments (one of Guo's teachers hacking himself to death with an axe then writing a message using his own blood, for example!) we all know & love in their films.

This movie to me is really a Venoms film.Although this is a four part series Fu doesnt even play the main role as in the last three.Kuo Choi,Chiang Sheng and Lu Feng get to display their usual amazing choreography in the finale to this film, and the fights between Chiang and Kuo to me are always some of the best Venoms moments. The finale is worth buying this film for alone.After "HOUSE OF TRAPS" this is the last time the Venoms will star in a Shaw film together before the studio closed in late 84'.
