Art, Romance and Italy Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
What more do you want if you can have a glimpse of Italy, its architecture and art (need much much more!)
and Takenouchi Yutaka at his best with his moody
fatastic looks and angst? I don't particularly like
the character Kelly Chen plays . But still its romantic element somehow is there. It's better than lots of other very silly ones. At least this one is done with very good taste.
I also like the music, it puts me in the mood of
remembering the fabulous Florence and its museums
and yes...........

Calmi Cuori appasionati is the best movie I ever watched. I rent this movie from a rental, and I never send it back. I have searched anywhere to find this movie, but I couldn't find it any. ...no other words can explain this movie, this is a masterpiece...

What can I say, this movie is mostly set in Italy where art and fashion flourished. This is the most beautiful japanese romance movie that combines the beaufitul Italian landscape with Japanese hunk Yutaka Takenouchi and Hongkong beauty Kelly Chen who endlessly shines in Japanese entertainment industry. Calmi Cuori Appassionati showcases the majestic paintings by Michelangelo as well as the St. Peters Cathedral in Florence. This movie also introduces numerous Italian designers labels such as Fendi where Kelly Chen is practically groomed into a walking model. Romantic as the title might suggest, Appassionati highlights on the theme, the power of love and promise. Yutaka, who restores paintings, falls in love with Kelly back in their schooldays in Japan. Their relationship fails along the way due to a misunderstanding and the couple have decided to part. Yet fate decides to rejoice the lovebirds in Italy. Their tumultous journey towards the bliss is put into test by the promise they made 10 years ago. Appassionati reaffirms the power and depth of love. An artistic movie for the fans of romance movies. The Limited Edition comes with a nice guide book to Italy in japanese language. There are many fascinating features in the DVD including a myriad of Soundtracks and other valuable informations. Calmi Cuori Appasionati is a pleasurable love story.

i thought this film was very nicely filmed. Might not suit some people who likes a fast paced love story but this story is slowly planned out and its so wonderful. its definitely a must watch.

this movie is really great...it's really touching my heart...the story,the scene and the music of this movie are really supported this movie to become the good ones. the scene of this movie which was taken in florence ...are really appropriate to illustrate this love story. Romantic love story.....you must see this movie....no regret...

Both main actor and actress are attractive. Takenouchi Yukata is cool and Kelly is beautiful. The story is a bit too ordinary but it is a good movie.

A beautiful film with beautiful people. A polished and sophisticated production by all means with a typical, but good, script and plot. And being set in Italy only made the film even more beautiful. Despite all its beauty though, the film seemed to be missing something. It was polished, but not passionate, beautiful, but not bold. It actually came across as a bit cold and languid. I never felt any deep chemistry between Kelly and Yutaka Takenouchi. And, though the actors showed good command with the languages, Kelly Chen's acting in English was a bit stiff, which made the exchanges between her and Yutaka and Michael Wong seem distant and unemotional. Yutaka Takenouchi was very good, and Michael Wong was surprisingly likeable in an understated role. This is a good film in the sense that a film with Kelly Chen and Yutaka Takenouchi set in Italy must by definition be good in some way or another. But it would have been so much better if, along with all that beauty, some substance was added in.

I just finished watching this film. Was quite long and slowed paced. Maybe even a little boring at times. The ending was touching though, just a shame they took so long to be together again. Nice movie, recommend it to romantic people.

Though the plot of this moive is quite predictable & not pervasive enough, I still enjoyed watching it. I'm very especially pleased with the great music from enya and the great scenery. I think it's worth to watch.
