Candy Lo enters the stage of the HK Hung Hom Stadium in her attractively hot looks!
She rocked the town with her "True Music 1st Flight Live" show on 2 nights! The stadium was especially turned into an airplane passenger cabin to match the theme of this tour as the star went on to present songs of her hit album "Candy's Airline"! She also performed other smashs like "Deep Blue" & "Trash" among other well-known tunes.
The concert presented an appealing new image of Candy who no longer clings to her old modest looks. Her hot eye catching costumes with their sharp colors and the tattoos on her body became an additional center of attraction of this performance. During the climax of the show she could be seen wearing an attractive golden Bra Top and performing hot dance moves with her male cast. Candy also performed songs of other stars like Sally Yeh's "Long Night My Love Goodnight" or Sinead O 'Connor's "Nothing Compares to You". In addition, she offered her special version of Leslie Cheung's "Chasing" and played a special film in memory of HK's brave hospital staff. To top it all she finally added her ballad "Peaceful Separation" and by that time many of the people among the audience were moved to tears.

Candy Can't Sing Live
| Candy was often off key. This make a good Karaoke because you can surely sing better than she does. |

Cute, Sexy, Good Looking, Sweet Candy
| What can I say?! This DVD should definitely rank as top entertainment for your entertainment unit. I was over the moon when I saw sweet Candy Lo Hau-yam in a green air hostess uniform at the opening of the concert. Not only she looks cute, she looks good looking and charming, and welcoming to the eye. She really knows how to create the essential first good impression on the audience. There's a certain aura about her that I truly admire. With the first song - "Mascot", everybody viewed this lady in pink costume. The way she communicates with the audience is quite hynotising with that particular song (and others too) is sexy. The Celtic inspired pop song - "Dancing At Every Stop" is a great musical and dance number. On a few occasions, I danced to the music, trying to imitate their (Candy and the dancers) dance steps. You may think I'm mad. Candy's own compositions of the following songs - "Warm Colours", "Have Courage To Love", and others are pretty good, but "Music People" is the song that I liked the most. Her lovely costume and that headgear forms as part of the whole package. She's her own image consultant...now how cool is that?! She looks like a "musical genius" with that guitar of her's. "Music People" is an "energiser" of a song, that leaves you on a high! "Invincible" (Track 10) starts off relatively quiet, then it sort of "boom" into fairly loud music. Her mini talks with the band is pretty good. Her tribute to Leslie Cheung's "Chase" is very sincere. Her most recent major hit - "Triangular Love" is moving. "Garbage" is one of the first songs which had put her in the eyes of the public. My most favourite song of the concert - "God Bless" is a very good song (with the Mark Lui signature) with a very positive message. Hong Kong definitely need more songs like this. I actually dedicated this song to group of friends on SBS Radio in Sydney, (it was also a national broadcast) and I wanted every Cantonese listener to familiarise themselves with this wonderful song. "Wind Chimes" is another beautiful song from Candy, a few years ago. Finally, "Let's Separate" ended this concert with a bang. She'd cried, and I believed the audiences also cried as she left the stage. Other songs in this concert DVD is also sung very nicely by Candy. A great performance by Candy, the musicians and the dancers, and also credit to the all involved in this highly successful two day concert. I got so much to say on this DVD that it won't fit within the word limit of this review.....Visual feast for the eyes, audio feast for the ears. Get your copy of this DVD right now! |
