Good-bye days (Japan Version)

June 27, 2006 YUI's most solid single yet.The minute I had finished listening to this single, "LIFE", YUI's third single, was knocked off the no. 1 position for her singles in my mind. The title track, "Good-bye days", is the theme song to YUI's acting debut movie, "Taiyou no Uta". It also happens to be my favorite YUI song. This is a song with simple but meaningful lyrics and a touching melody. She puts so much emotion into this song (as always, haha). Whenever she sings "I wish", it sends chills up and down my spine. It's emotional enough to even make me cry a few times while listening to it.
The b-side, "Skyline", has a very catchy chorus and is my second favorite b-side of hers. Her English is somewhat inaccurate, but I find it to be cute and very "YUI".
The other track on this single, "It's happy line", was on her Indies single, also called "It's happy line", but now it has been included here. For YUI fans (like me) who did not get a chance to grab her limited Indies release, this song is a nice bonus to this single.
This is a MUST-buy; the awesome cover and awesome songs added to with YUI's unique charm make this single complete.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Keep Tryin' (Japan Version)

February 19, 2006 A nice change from Be My Last & PassionThis isn't her "best" work ever, but it's definitely a nice, refreshing change from her Be My Last/Passion style. Keep Tryin' is a pop song with a catchy chorus and a really cute PV. Wings is almost like her style from her R&B First Love era. Both are great songs and this single is definitely worth buying, despite, the scary-looking cover. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
