I didn't know anyone in this movie so I was pleasantly surprised to really enjoy it. The music really makes this movie. I not familiar with alot of Asian actors or singers only a few mandarin but even though this movie has canto music I really felt it was good. Justin Lo is the main guy who likes to write lyrics and doesn't really know that he can sing. His best friend is Kristy. She is a cool girl. I really liked her. They have been friends since childhood and they are both growing up in a single parent household. Even though the movie doesn't really focus on the relationship's they have with their parents, the little they do show is really nice. I think the movie should have given more to us on the relationships that are growing but I guess the movie wants to focus on the music. But it does let you know what happens to everbody. Love, So Divine (Hong Kong Version)
April 26, 2008 Innocent fall in love movieI really liked this movie. I read the reviews and decided to buy this movie. I have seen past performances by Kwon Sang Woo. He is a very good actor. He really can be different in his characters. In this one he plays Kyusik, a real innocent guy who is really wanting to become a priest. He is so sincere in his efforts. Then bring in Bonghee,(Ha Jiwon). This is the first time I've seen a movie with her in it. She is pretty and irritating at the same time but they do fall in love without meaning to and there are difficult decisions to make. Especially for Kyusik whose dream is to become a priest.I do recommend this movie to anyone who loves romantic comedies.This is done in good taste. Again, I can't believe how good Kwon Sang Woo is in all his roles. I've never seen him in the soap operas but in his movies he is so credible. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

It is now one of my favorites! I am and still am a Jay Chou fan. I finally decided one day to try to hear something with Jerry Yan after ordering the movie Magic Kitchen. Having no clue who he was. I liked the sound of his voice so I ordered his CD, which is quite good. Because of liking Jerry Yan's voice I know ordered F4 and it is really a great CD.So many good songs. All four of these guys sing good. They sing songs solo and also some together. Buy this CD if you like good Chinese music. Or just like good music period! I was really hoping it would be better than what it actually was. The review here makes it sound better. I like the actors. The main guy actor,Tian(in the movie)is a cutie. The girl,Ploy,is just okay.The story could have been better. It's about Tian a photographer & he has emotional problems from his past.He drinks alot.Thats how Ploy meets him. He is drunk and yelling at someone who took his camera away.He seems kind of mean but in the end you start to feel for him because he can be nice also. Ploy finds out how Tian gets very angry at things that he remembers and she wants to leave him but she stays when he asks her to forgive him. The story should have concentrated more on the romance budding between Tian and Ploy but it goes too fast and then tragedy happens. One thing then still worse happens. It's hard to understand everything because the translation into English is not very good. You kinda guess some stuff. This could be a really good movie if only they would have given this couple a chance to be a couple for a while. The ending I hated because it should not have happened this way. I think it is because of what Ploy's friend(who also loves her) says to Tian. Which makes him think too much how to show his love for Ploy.He has good intentions but he is emotionally weak to for being blamed for an accident that can happen to anybody. April 26, 2008 Very sweet inocent movie!I highly recommend this movie if you like cute young- love movies. I do and I'm so glad that I bought it.(thanks to reading these good reviews on the movie)I really enjoyed the acting from all the characters. Ku Fung (Lawrence Chou)is good as a young guy in love with his girl Carlily. The father is funny and a nice man. Ku Fung's little sister Cocoa(English Translation) is also so cute and the puppy love she has with Locust is very nice and innocent also. I like how Locust's grandma takes care of Locust. I am not familiar with Chinese movies or the actors,I only have a few, but I am sooo glad I bought this one. Even my husband thought it was a cute movie. My Tutor Friend (Hong Kong Version)
July 23, 2007 One of my favoritesI really enjoyed this movie. The classic tough guy and nice girl. I love this actress. She is so cute and I love her facial expressions. She's very believable. Also the lead guy is a hunk!Very handsome and I really like how he falls in love with the lead girl. He comes to respect her and falls hard for her. My favorite seen is when she,on a bet, has to dance at her school!I love the way his expression changes from laughing at her to one REAL JEALOUS GUY. Also a really pretty scene is when they are in the rain under a light at night. That is a beautiful scene. Like a picture! This is a difinately buy me movie. July 23, 2007 Really cool movie!!This is a really good movie. It's about teenagers and finding true love. That's why I really liked this movie. Under the rough exterior the main lead guy has a sensitive heart and falls hard for the lead girl. She also fall hard for him but she makes a few mistakes(I think) and practically pushes him away. Thank goodness True love prevails. I love the ending also. Very,very heart touching.You fall in love with this couple.I highly recommend this movie. I'm even buying another one to give as a gift. My Little Bride (Hong Kong Version)
July 21, 2007 really cute movieI really enjoyed this movie. It's a cute story and believable characters. It's a clean movie that I recommend to any who wish to see a comedy romantic movie. The only thing I recommend is that you splurge on the more expensive version. This one has a little bit of an echo with the Korean and chinese languages both being able to be heard at the same time. I have so far only 6 of Jay's albums and this one is my favorite. He is such a talented person. I really love his music and I don't understand alot of it because i'm not asian or of asian descendent. Just a word or two in the whole song(because i'm learning Mandarin) but I can kinda get what's going on by his videos to his songs. January 20, 2007 Big Time Jay Chou FanI became a fan of Jay Chou after seeing the movie Initial D. I rented it then bought it. I liked the two songs that I heard from Jay Chou. (I had no idea he sang those songs at the time). Well, I became a big fan of his acting and singing. I had no Idea how BIG he is or how popular. Good music is good music. I don't know Chinese but I am learning the language and love the culture and people. I loved this c.d. and the DVD is so great. I've showed it to my family and friends and they really like J's style also. This C.D. plus 2 others that I ordered are great! The initial J and Still Fantasy are TERRIFIC!
