October 8, 2008 Its ok, but could have been betterI'm not sure if its my mood today, my hearing, Linda's voice, or just the type of song in this album, but this album wasn't really what I would expect it to be. I think these types of song that Linda is singing in this album doesn't really go with her voice. Because her voice does have such a high pitch. There were fast and slow melody, but they both didn't sound right to me with Linda's voice. The issue may just be me, but I don't think Linda's voice will be good in singing. So I will let those of you who like music or a fan of Linda to decide for yourself if you will like Linda's singing or not to get the album. Throughout the entire album I only like track #6. October 5, 2008 Cool but Smooth...
This poster came out to be bigger then I thought. (I guess I'm just not good at measurements) Even thou there are advisetiment of Raymond's 2nd album below the poster, but it didn't take away the great imgine and main points of Raymond in the photo.
I describe this poster as cool but smooth looking, because I personally don't enjoy cats that much, but I still thought it was worth getting this poster, because they were able to get Raymond's style out as the main points, even after they have the cat and advistiment on the poster.
The printing paper for this poster was really good (not like some poster are printed on thin cheap paper that tears easily). This poster was rolled up and shipped in a hard cardboard tube, so there is not folds on the poster and no way for the poster to be damage throughout the shipment.
Over all..... the looks, printing, and shipping of this product was great and for those of you who enjoy collecting poster or of course a fan of Raymond Lam should definitely get this poster.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
October 5, 2008 Dramatic Improvement!! (corrections)
Favorite Tracks: 6, 4, 7, 1
Sorry everyone, just to clarify my mistake. I perivously enter: "As for the 3 MV, they were super too, its just too bad there wasn't one for my favorite."
Just so you know and get it clearly that this album here doesn't come with a MV dvd. Its the second version that has the dvd. But of course the MV dvd in the second version of this album (another selection) is really great and no one should miss out on it if you are one of Raymond's fans.
Sorry for the error and hopefully this additional entry here doesn't cause any problems/confusion.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
October 5, 2008 An Outrageously Great Album!!!
Favorite tracks: 1, 10, 3
I am a really big fan of Raymond Lam because he is a really great actor, and I honestly didn't know he was also into singing too. I only thought that he would only sing some of the theme songs in the TVB series that he was in. But it was a surpise to me that he choose to be a singer too. I am sure his hard work in both the acting and singing world will all pay out greatly.
Even thou the packaging was in a cardboard box (very different from regular CD's), but I thought they just wanted Raymond Lam to be different from others. Since it is Raymond's 1st album, all of his songs were really good, and I am sure there will always be room for improvement in the future (so his 2nd album would be even better). But for those 2 MV. I can't say anymore about it. It was just "Outstanding, remarkablely lovely, cute"I am sure you will love it.
For this CD+DVD combo, I truly do enjoy listening and watching to all his songs and I highly recommedate it to anyone that like music. I am sure for those who purchase this will enjoy it greatly.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
