Super Girl 2005 champion Chris Lee has been holding her annual "Why Me" birthday concerts ever since her debut. Previously held in Chengdu, Beijing, and Shanghai, the 2009 edition moved to Guangzhou. With the intention of showing her energetic side, Chris danced a lot at the March 21st Guangzhou Gymnasium live, for which she enlisted the help of famous dance choreographer KENN (who did Jolin Tsai's Dancing Forever) to come up with routines infused with hip-hop and jazz funk styles. Opening with a rearranged version of "Young China", the concert was presented in six segments. Chris enchanted the audience with her newfound stage charisma, performing up-tempo numbers like the concert theme song "Why Me", "My Kingdom", and "Stop", as well as Cantonese songs like "Half a Heart", "Trust Myself", and "Rainbow Sister".
