With the backing of Jay Chou, 2009 JVR Music newcomer Cindy Yen makes her glaring debut as a singer-songwriter. Her self-composed first single "Drawing Sand", a classical number with R&B elements, is notably Jay's first duet that is not written by himself. The theme song for the 2010 New Year movie True Legend that Jay stars in, "Drawing Sand" attracts attention for it is the first song in over a year for the Mando-pop superstar. For her self-titled debut album, the versatile Cindy composed and produced all 10 songs, plus played piano and violin and also provided backing vocals. In the lyrics department, she enlisted the likes of Vincent Fang, Huang Jun Lang, and Nan Quan MaMa's Lara to put words to music.

The CD comes with Cindy's travel journal and a bonus DVD containing two music videos.
