Melodious, mid-tempo synth-pop Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
"Love Child of the Century", Clazziquai's third project, is music maestro Kim Sung-hoon's most conventional recording to date. Several of the songs remind me of early 1980s British synth-pop from bands like OMD, Yaz, and the Human League. However, Kim is much more musically sophisticated than those old acts and these new songs benefit from his jazz and Brazilian influences.

My favorite song probably is track 7, which is the only song on the album on which Clazziquai really cuts loose on an uptempo number. Second favorite is track 14, which has the most unique sound on the record.

As usual, Christina Chu, Horan Choi, and Alex Chu are aboard to do a fine job on the vocals, although (to my ears) they have less opportunity for truly soulful singing on this album than they did on the first two.

Clazziquai has delivered another tuneful CD that I'm happy to recommend. (Message to Kim Sung-hoon: Don't be afraid to be a bit more adventurous on the next project, please!)

Great Mix Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
For a shot in the dark, I think I hit a jack-pot! After listening to rap (50 cent, etc.), and some of the newer music beats, this is refreshing to the ears, as Jiyong said; soothing.
I like the variety of beats, from blues to chacha.
I don't think there is a track that will disappoint you.

Very soothing Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Like the past albums, this album is great with a mix of classic and jazz (like their name). It's very pretty and easy to listen to. I like the whole album but I like tracks #2 (lover boy) and #9 (romeo n juliet) the best. Track #2 sounds like another typical clazziquai song while #9 has a really pretty duet. I highly recommend this album. :)
