Clon Vol. 5 - Victory

It was not before 1996 before the duo Clon (which started its career in 1990) consisting of Koo Jun Yup and Kang Wol Rae reaped the respect it had so hard worked for with their premier LP Are You Ready? Their unique combination of hip hop + techno beats combined with exceptional dance skills helped them win the hearts of numerous music lovers. By the time they released their 4th album "Premier Love" in 2000, they were at the height of their career. However, good times normally never last long and Wol Rae was seriously injured in tragic car accident. As a result he suffered a fracture of his spine and became partially paralyzed – seemingly unable to carry on his music career.

However, Wol Ra's dedication to music remained unshaken and with the never-ending encouragement of his wife Kim Song and a grandiose effort Clon is finally back to present its 5th LP Victory! Offering a brand new musical style with both slow and up-tempo tunes Clon's latest works clearly reflect the anger, pain, and happiness of the two band members. Their feelings towards their friends, family, and the public are captured in songs like "My dear - Song" (track 5) , "Hospital Diary" (track 11), "Letter to You" (track 10), and "Mourning People" (track 9) that they have especially recorded for their long time fans.
