If this is your first concert DVD by L'Arc~en~Ciel, don't be turn off by the first four songs because Hyde's vocals were off keys. I don't know if that was due to the complexities of the first track, get out from the shell which is absolutely one of my most favorite tracks by L'Arc~en~Ciel that he didn't get a good start. But you can tell that Hyde was not in top form in the beginning. So, a slight disappointment when I watched this DVD containing almost all the songs from the Real album which beats by a horse hair by the Awake album to be my favorite album by the band. I am really looking forward to watch L'Arc~en~Ciel's 2008 live concert via Paris DVD and it looks like a better start this time as the opening track. If you are Hyde's or L'Arc~en~Ciel's fan, you should get this if you have not. The reviewer from the VHS version gave an excellent review on this concert. |
