A collaboration between Sunrise and CLAMP, sci-fi action mecha anime series Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion has been a huge hit around the world. Set in an alternate world in which Japan is under the rule of an authoritarian British Empire, the anime revolves around eponymous hero Britannian Lelouch, a young man with supernatural powers who straddles the lines of good and evil in his quest to bring down the British Empire. On the surface a student at the elite Ashford Academy in Area 11, he is actually ruthless freedom fighter Zero, leader of the rebel group Order of Black Knights.

Aired in April 2008, the second season of the series Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, R2 picks up the story one year after the events of the first season. With Area 11 under even greater oppression after the Black Rebellion, it's up to Lelouch to rise once more as Zero, but first he has to find his true self again. Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2: Special Edition "Zero Requiem" presents a feature-length version of R2 specially edited from the series' 25 episodes.
