I think this time they all did a great job. Their first and second album was more in the direction of Jay Chou . But this album is really great. They have their own style and the result is really surprising.
Lara is getting better with her voice which first was annoying for me. "Tonight" , "Qiao Qiao Gao Su Ta","Ren yu de yan lei", "Qiang yu Mei Gui" and "Shui Jing Qing Ting" (Track 1,2,5,6,9 respectively) are from good quality. Track 6 is some following up of"Po Xiao" from their second album but still good. And my favorite is "Li Jia bu Yuan" Track 12...like the guitars . And the lyrics is very meanful, about home. And lara did a great job here, especially the chinese part...thumbs up!

I have to say that jay chou did a bad job with this one. Quickly slapped together for some quick bucks.

The boys tried to immitate jay chou and at times it sounds funny. Maybe the next one will be better....

 Nan Quan Mama's Ballad Album Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
if Nan Quan Mama's previous albums we're filled with more pop-ish songs, 'Color Palette' changes the genre of music for awhile. This album is more focused on N.Q.M.'s ballad music styles although there is at least 1 R&B song in the album. I recommend this album if your in to keeping yourself updated with NQM's music or just simply want to own a copy of their ballad album.

Well, I was also a little disappointed with their new album. This album doesn't even get close to the level of their first two albums. There are two songs that I love--#6 and #12. Other good tracks are--1,2,5,9. Overall, I think the songs are too slow and hope they come back with some more up-tempo/hip-hop songs on their next album.

After their last cd, I was really looking forward to this new release. Overall just ok. Too many slow ballads for my taste and only one really hard hip/hop song. Not nearly as good as their last cd, but worth buying anyway.
