Veteran Hong Kong artist Prudence Lau started her career in 1972 at the tender age of eight. In 1982 she married movie director Taylor Wong, but her breakthrough as singer came four years later with the song "Midnight Love", rocketing her to superstardom. Announcing her comeback at the beginning of 2008, Lau gives her fans more to treasure with her latest compilation Prudence Lau New + Best Selection, featuring a combination of new and old material. Among the classic songs on this collection are "You Say Sweet - I Say Bitter" (CD 1 - Track 12), "A Pair of Old Shoes" (CD 2 - Track 6), and "Final Night" (CD 1 - Track 4). Her duet "New Romance" (CD 1 - Track 13) with Jan Lam and the earlier mentioned smash single "Midnight Love" (CD 1 - Track 11) have also been included on this album. Last but not least, the album contains three new songs, including "Floating Flower" (CD 1 - Track 2), "Private Lessons" (CD 1 - Track 3), and "Erotic World Exposure" (CD 1 - Track 1) with Jan Lam.

This edition comes with a DVD featuring Prudence's latest music videos.
