自卑的梁家輝（黃博儒飾）從小活在人們的嘲笑聲中。這個自備的少年卻暗戀赤手可熱的美女，楊陽（陳雪兒飾）。家輝唯一的朋友是活潑開朗的劉承光（李創銳飾）。承光有個愛他的媽媽和女朋友，曉曦（陳楚璇飾）。
有一天承光因一場車禍去世了。承光的媽媽，曉曦與家輝都感到十分沮喪。當家輝在家里自暴自棄的當兒，一道年青的橙光，因為厭倦了自己的職務，加上性格貪玩，從奇異境界“光世界”來到人間度假。橙光也借用了承光的外貌來面對家輝, 曉曦和承光的媽媽。橙光的出現帶來了愛情，親情與友情的溫暖，讓傷心的人重新勇敢面對生活。
Liang Jiahui has been living in misery due to his inferiority. He has been secretly in love with a very pretty girl, Yangyang. His only friend, Liu Chengguang is a jovial and happy-go-lucky person. Chengguang has a mother and a girlfriend, Xiaoxi who love him very much.
One day, Chengguang passed away in a car accident. Chengguang's mother, Xiaoxi and Jiahui became very miserable. As Jiahui wastes his life away in his home, a ray of orange light, Orange, decided to leave his home, "The Light World" after feeling bored of his daily routine. Orange came to Earth for a holiday and assumed Chengguang's appearance. Orange brought along with him the warmth shared between family, friends and lovers, helping people to carry on living.
