Excellent...
Excellent...
| I had never bought much music by bands, as I tend to prefer solo singers. But, after hearing that the singer of this band is a female with a fabulously intoxicating voice: I had to try it. And WOW! Is this great stuff, or what? I adore this CD and the singer is just outstanding. She can SING! And the music is just right for the sound of her voice. I love everything about this CD EXCEPT for the English song. I prefer my Japanese CDs to be all in Japanese. The song is good and well sung, but I would like it better in Japanese (that's just my own preference). However, it does show diversity and add something different to the tone of the CD. Let me say: this Cd is NOT "commonplace"! It stands out by sheer artistry. BUY THIS and you will fall in love. Now, I want ALL their CDs, so I'm off to see what YESASIA has in stock by them. I'm so impressed by this band. I will be supporting all their future releases, and in the meantime...this CD will be played almost non-stop! |

ELT rocks!

ELT's new album is totally awesome! Eleven songs, one instrumental (Interluido~ Meridiana), and one bonus song added! The DVD includes their making of the pics of commonplace, as well as a special performance of "Time goes by"! "Soraai" is their newest single, and it really grows on you. Very calm and sweet sounding, which is totally different from "Fundamental Love", the song following it. water(s) is a really interesting song (one of the best in the album). It has this lazy feel to it, very calming and catchy; "Uraurara" also has this type of feel to it, and it's super catchy too! "Country Road" and "Life Cycle" are the more fast songs in the album, with Kaori singing in english for "Country Road". They're both beaty songs and they fit smoothly between the songs around it. Satsukiame is a wonderful ballad and it's definitely a must-listen! "commonplace" is definitely a must-have album, whether for fans, or just for easy-listening. The album is set in a way where you can't get tired of listening to the songs over and over again! |
