This series was very good. Huang and Liu did a good job of portraying their characters by not over doing it. The director did a good job filming most if not all the fight sequences - looked like the characters are dancing rather than fighting. The only complaint I have is the little kid who plays the younger version of Huang. He didn't do a good job of demonstrating his free spirit. It came across as annoying and whinning.

I liked this shows so much. I find that Liu Yi Fei looks much more younger and is the prettiest Dragon girl compare to the rest of the Condor Hero Series.Liu hair style, everything ,the whole image fits her well.Her acting was excellent too. For Yang Guo acting by Huang Xiao Ming ,he should act naturally not try to follows and continue to act like or says try to remains the image of the Young time Yang Guo.

Young Yang guo already grown-up, Huang Xiao Ming should act lke himself, the grown -up Yang Guo instead. I think ,Huang, however can act better if he can overcome this.

Overall, this Condor Hero, Huang and Liu is a must see Series.

this is a really great drama...
i haven't watched anything this good for a long time and it really made my time...
it was a bit rushed but it was still good...
the actors and actresses are really good and the kungfu is great!
subtitles rocks too! great subtitles...

i agree that the story is a bit rushed, and they skip a lot of stuff but we already know the story so its not a big deal. i think huang xiao ming and liu yifei make such a cute couple i hope they star in more movies together.

This remake of the condor hero is far more exceeding than any other prior remakes. The two main characters makes a perfect match. The story telling is easily comprehended and the music is just lovely. Personally I still like the original one with Andy Lau and Idy Chan,but this Return of the Condor Heroes is just as good. I'm sure if the two stars Huang Xiao Ming and Liu Yi Fei ever co-star again, It'll only be success!

Truthfully the Condor Hero epic has been redone and redone, that each time would seem hard to create anything new. The cast of Huang Xiao Ming and Liu Yi Fei was as strong as it can get. The show itself really took off when Yuan Guo grew up, thus if you know this story already, just skip past the childhood Yuan Guo. Every scene with H.X.M and L.Y.F together was just goegeous. The scenery itself is captivating. The music is haunting and fits perfectly. Some of the side casts are strong in their own ways. Though of course it is questionable some of the rewriting of this story, especially in the novel it self, L.Y.F is not suppose to ever cry because every time she cries, she is suppose loose years off her power. But the tears she shedded in the show was just so beautiful. This definitely gives a different feel to the Andy Lau and Idy Chan's R.O.C.H but both are great in its own format. The Louis koo one should never even be discussed among the series of R.O.C.H. This is definitely one of the top remakes of classics in recent years.

wow, what a great movie, haven't watch anything is good for awhile now. It's good enough to spend money on it. I have't see the older series of return of the condor hero, but i think this one is the best one of all. for those that haven't seem this movie,they should take the time to watch it because it's that good. great series

This series is by far, the best series that Mainland China made. Even though by reading subtitle in English, I still enjoy the story and graphic. The graphic is more realistic than any other series of Mainland China. Though the dragon girl is a little younger than I expected. But the fighting and graphic has to come first, then the story. I think this series is better than the HK version of Luis Koo and Carmen because it is more like the original TVB series of Andy Lau. I would give this a rating of number 9. The only series that I think could beat this are the lendary four, semi devil ..., and Dragon sabre 200 all from TVB. This is the only series that can come close to TVB production. I think Tai Seng made a really good choice of marketing this product. I wish that more of these kind can come to the market for our consumer. And it can be even better if some of TVB's actors can join Mainland CHina production too. ALso the themesong of this movie is excellent -Wong Fei, Emil CHow, and I think Leon.....VERY GOOD!!!!!!!!!

I was watching this whilst I was on holiday in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. It is absolutely amazing with a fight scene in nearly every episode with a great story to go along with it! Fulfilled with love and betrayal, a must see for any one!

This is one of the best tv series I've seen for some time, it is a high quality production. I really like the 2 main leads, the guy kind of looks like Louis Koo & Raymond Lam and the girl is so beautiful. The scenery is so grand and colorful, great martial arts fighting scenes and special effects. I am a fan of all 3 versions, but if I were to choose, I would have to say I like Andy's version the most - I feel that couple was the most believable and touching, and maybe because that was the 1st version I saw. I became a fan of Andy after that series. Second is this new version and third would have to be Louis' version. All 3 are great and you should watch to see the subtle differences. All in all, great series...don't miss it!
