"Cool Best- Very Best Album of Cool 1994-2003"- Good Old Tunes, Better New Track Having released their eighth studio album "Cool vol.8-8IGHT" in 2003, the "Cool" versions of the Wonder Woman, Spiderman and Superman Cool come to town again in 2004 with their compilation album "Cool- Very Best Album of Cool 1994-2003". The ten-year hard work of this Korean band has secured them a solid fan base. Now is certainly the time for us to relive their COOL musical journey with their 31 chart toppers on two discs. Among all of their musical gems on the "dance disc" and the "ballad disc", there are a few that can best represent this two-man-and-one-girl band. "Heartbreak" (Track 3, CD 1), very much similar to their old tune "Skin Ship", gets the party started with its groovy Polka rhythm. The magic of Polka music is that it manages to get rid of all those negative vibes and fill the air with happiness. The joyful lyrics of "Heartbreak" and the cheerful vocals therefore work best with Polka music to get you out of the gloom. Resembling the mood of oldies, "A woman on a beach" (Track 7, CD 1) gives a vivid picture of a lady enjoying sunshine on a beach along with the Boogie rhythm. "Jumbo Mambo" (Track 5, CD 5) also makes you tap your feet with its snappy pace. Among the 16 ballads, "Aloha" (Track 13, CD 2) stands out as the favorite of the reviewer. First released in the 2001 Christmas season, this tune spreads warmth to all those lonely souls with the touching monolog. A brand new track also comes along on this 2-CD all-the-best album. "Why" (Track 1, CD 1) symbolizes a new attempt of Cool in the direction of acid jazz. The flawless coordination in the background vocal given by Cool themselves is enough to tell you why this Korean band has been able to stand their ground in the music industry for a decade and promises to do so for many more years to come. | This is an excellent cd to buy. There are two cds. One is dance music, while the other is ballad. It is SUCH a great buy!! Cool...gotta love it!! |

I am very glad that i got this cd, 1st of all becuase its COOLS BEST SONGS it has all the songs that i like!!! Its worth buying.There are 2 cds in the package and the 1st one, all of the songs are mostly up beat tempo while the 2nd cd carries a mellow -ballad mood. |
