Mike與死黨聰仔同為軍裝警員，Mike因誤殺蛇匪被停職。其間Mike偕女友阿芝目睹黑幫大哥天執行家法，Mike羨慕其生活，以及有性感嬌妻Pauline。Mike被召充當臥底，成功擔任天保鏢，發現聰仔是另一頭目手下，知聰仔亦已成為臥底。憑著臥底身份，Mike不斷鏟除異己，而且為了坐上龍頭位置，Mike更不惜殺死從前警隊好友聰仔，並綁架天並欲致天於死地……
Police constable Mike is suspended from duty charged with abusing the use of his gun in a robbery. During his suspension from duty, Mike meets a Triad Society Big Brother, Tin and admires his lifestyle and also his sexy wife. Mike is apparently dismissed but in fact becoming a stoolie. Mike eventually becomes Tin's bodyguard, and discovers that his buddy Chung also becomes a stoolie. Mike uses the Police Force to get rid of all big brothers and intends to become the head of the Society, as well as taking over Tin's wife. For his own sake, Mike even kills his buddy Chung and kidnaps Tin...

bad to the rotten core
| Cop on a Mission is the English title the Chinese title is Know the Law, Break the Law. Daniel Wu plays a good cop gone rottenly bad to the deep rotten core. He wants it all the money and hot chicks the fast and bad way. There is a scene showing him taking a shower and shows his back and buttocks. He was thinking about the mob boss's girlfriend and masturbating in the shower. There was no point to that scene. The story is fair. The acting is ordinary. |

It was kinda boring
| ok the movie was alright but it seemed kinda stupid and why did they have to show his butt for?!? The plot was laright but it wasnt the best thing ever...too much blood |

a lot of violence
| this movie contains a lot of violence and graphic material which is not recommended for kids to watch. the movie is about a good cop who goes undercover and gets inside a mob gang, next thing he turns into a bad cop and causes people to get killed for his own selfish interests. also he has a plan to kill of the mob head so that he can control the entire empire but his plan falls apart when the mob head is onto his evil ways, next thing he knows he is the one who is being buried alive at the end of the movie. very gross a lot of violence, blood, etc. not recommended for kids. daniel wu plays the good cop turned bad cop turned mob gang member turned to shyt when his @ss gets dumped in the ditch at the end of the movie. |

TWO THUMBS WAY UP HIGH

This is one of the best Daniel Wu films I've seen. Although there were some scenes that could've been excluded, the story wasn't bad. It was not the typical triad or cop movie, and Daniel Wu gave a wonderful performance as the bad guy. I highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for some enjoyment, but keep in mind, this movie is gorey. |

Twisted
| It's a good movie because it combined action, adventure, comedy, and drama into the entire package. But what made it great was the little twist at the beginning and the end. |
