September 7, 2006 She's AmazingThis album is amazing! I don't care what other people say about it. She experimented with a variety of sounds, beats, and genres and it worked beautifully. Ayu has been very lucky to be able to bounce around from pop, rock, trance, and ballads and still shell out #1 singles and albums. Besides all of the singles that she release for this album: "Step You" (One of my favorite songs!), "Ladies Night" (Cool, weird 80's sounding song), "Fairyland" (Fun and Bouncy!), "Heaven" (Beautiful ballad), "Bold and Delicious" (great, unique, gospel-like song), etc...all of her other songs are defenitely worth listening to. "Alterna" is edgy and catchy, "Miss Understood" is a cool, rockish song, "Will" is another lovely ballad; there's so many great songs! Just buy the album. You'll see what I'm talking about. I hate reading reviews where people complain that Ayu is losing her touch and that she should stick to pop songs and her child-like image. Hello! Part of reason she's so famous and popular is because she transforms herself constantly so we never get bored of the same thing, and in regards to her tougher, sexier image and sound ppl have to get used to a more grown-up Ayu (she's almost 30 for heaven's sake!) She hasn't lost anything but that little annoying, nasal, minnie mouse voice she used to talk in most of the time. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

March 30, 2006 Awesome and FunnyAyumi never ceases to amaze me! I just rcvd my DVD copy 2 days ago and I've watched it twice already! I love it! Her introduction appearace in "Step You" is nothing outrageously flashy, but the choreography and the outfits are awesome! It defenitely sets the tone perfectly. She goes into some good oldies song through out the concert (too many of the same ones she does in every concert though). I loved it more when she performed her new singles like "Fairyland", in which she and her dancers looked absolutely adorable, "Bold and Delicous", she got a huge choir to do backup vocals it was so cool, and "Rainy Day" was quiet and very soulful. She also included the same Japanese performers for "Evolution" as she did in her Countdown Live 2004-2005 concert. The funniest part about this concert is when she forgets the lyrics to "Boys and Girls" and mixes up the names of her dancers during the bridge of "Winding Road" at the end! I felt bad for her, but it was so funny! Anyways! Get this concert! Her performance, vocals, and dance moves are the best! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
COUNT-DOWN J-POP 2006 (Overseas Version)
March 22, 2006 Nice CompilationI recommend this CD to anyone who's looking for a variety in songs, music styles, and artists. It is put together very nicely and almost every track is an enjoyable experience. It's got pop, rock, soul, trance, all mixed in. You don't want to pass up this offer: 2 CD's full of great hits! ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2005 A - MY STORY (Overseas Version)
ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2005 A - MY STORY (Overseas Version) DVD Region 3
(10)Our Price: US$25.75February 21, 2006 Magic and Work! The stage for this Arena concert was gorgeous! There is no denying that. I enjoyed the fact that she did alot of the songs from her "My Story" album (which in my opinion was a good/edgy album compared to what alot of people say) and that her costumes were as inventive and creative as ever (She's Japanese! They can't help but be flamboyant and quirky!). The waterworks and the pyrotechniques added an intensity to the concert. One thing I didn't like was the dramatization included as a scene/prelude to some songs (i.e. Happy Ending, Carols)It's just not original. She's done that many times before. And the other thing was that she has gotten into the habit of performing the same old singles (Boys and Girls, Evolution, Surreal), they're great songs but she has tons of other ones she could use. Anyways, other than that, GREAT concert; EXCELLENT performance. Buy it NOW! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Duty (Japan Version)
February 20, 2006 She's so CreativeI love the way that Ayu always has a way of re-inventing herself. First of all, the album cover and the CD booklet are cool. It's all Leopard print and the pictures are gorgeous. As for the CD itself, it's another hit. Although I will say it's not one of my favorites (there are some songs that I skip on this album) it still is a winner. All the singles that were release make up the best of the album. So buy now! You won't be dissapointed! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Love Appear (Japan Version)
February 20, 2006 Excellent! This CD can be considered an excellent compilation of some of Ayumi Hamasaki's greatest hits. Singles like "Boys and Girls", "Fly High", "Trauma", "Whatever", and "Appears" are some of the most popular ones. What really makes this album platinum is the fact that the other songs are also just as awesome as the singles. This album is a must have for new and old Ayu fans! Did you find this review helpful? A Song for xx (Japan Ver.)
February 20, 2006 Ayu in the Beginning...This is Ayu's first official album with Avex. This album contains all of the first singles that made her a mega-star! Aside from her most famous singles like "Trust", "Depend on You", "A song for XX", "Poker Face", and "You", it has other excellent songs worth listening too like "Hana" and "For my Dear". A very good album to own! One of Ayu's best! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Around The World (CD+DVD Version) (Hong Kong Version)
February 20, 2006 Very CoolI'm not a fan of Trance music, but Ami Suzuki defenitely made me appreciate it a little more. This CD is very upbeat and fun to dance to. Her vocals on the tracks are deep and steady. What makes this purchase really worth the money (besides the music of course) is the DVD that comes along with it. I absolutely loved it! Ami is an incredible dancer! She's so much fun to watch! The colors and choreography really bring the songs to life. Worth the buy if you love trance music or if you're an Ami Suzuki fan!
