the best drama ever! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
if you're a Korean's drama series lover, this's the best that i would recommend to everybody (after watching more than 100 over drama series!). I've bought the full series (50 disc) because it's worth for collection.

I m very rare to switch to 8TV, but, since my niece switch it on during my leisure time, i suddenly fond to the story. It's very touching and makes me eager to know what's next. Now, every monday to friday, nobody can slot in my schedule.....

this is a wonderful drama that will leave you asking for more. It is a heady mix of - Oshin(the popular Japanese drama)+ Dallas(of the Korean Palace kind)+ Iron Chef + Martha Stewart plus a whole lot more!!You will cheer Jang Geum as she faced numerous obstacles on her quest to be the Lady at the Top..and you will swoon at her dashing beau, Sir Min!

after Winter Sonata and Beautiful Days, I never thought a drama could capture me so completely again.I have watched more than 30 korean dramas and this one is a real winner in every aspect. The scenery just takes your breath away, the acting, superb..I could just go on and on! While some might say that Lee Young Ae looks a bit old in the early parts, she managed to capture the essence of an innocent young girl beautifully. The costumes are great while the food is displayed with great ceremony.Wonderful!

A must watch tv drama Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I loved this tv series!!! I think it's the best I've seen. I liked it more than Winter Sonata and Hotelier. The story is interesting, the acting is good and the cinematography is good as well. Lee Young Ae and Ji Jin Hee did a very good job playing the star cross lover. I was so happy that the ending was not a sad one. I really like Ji JIn Hee, he may not be a pretty boy but he played the part very well. He suits the role perfectly. I can't wait to see more of his work.

I was facinated and emotionaly caught up with Vol 1 and 2. Acting is superb! I depended on my wife for translation, but even though I could not understand the language the drive/feelings were passed on and I felt the crulty, love, sadness, the political in fighting, and understand better the reasons Korean Culture problems have kept her down trodden. Please do not keep this genre to yourselves. Share it with the world, it deserves at least an Oscar Nomination/Gloden Globe/Emey for the portraial of Jang Geum in a foreign film in the US. Need English language or English sub titles. Trying to get vol. 3 and 4 DVD Sets in Korean, but very difficult at this time. Hope some one tries to get this aired on US TV. Amazing, simply Amazing!
