First of all I just want to say that I don't reveal any important parts of the storyline in this review, and secondly, the Director's Cut Limited Edition box comes with two versions of the film: the 'International Director's Cut' which is just over two hours in length, and the 'Korean Theatrical Release' which runs for about one hour and fourty minutes. This review is for the 'International Director's Cut' as i haven't watched the 'Korean Theatrical Version' yet. And just to clear it up, one review on Yesasia claims each version has a different director, this is not true as both versions of the film are directed by Andy Lau. As a devoted collector of Korean cinema I was eager to get my hands on this dvd set, now I have....Great. The plot is about an interpol agent and an assassin who both fall in love with the same girl, an artist who sketches and paints portraits in the town square. The first half of the story is revealed to the audience through the three main characters one at a time. Then, once all three characters have told us their story the film continues in the present. It is a love film, but it is also an action film, and for me the balance between love and action is just right, putting this film near the top of my list of favourit films to come out of Korea. It is extremely moving and although the action sequences may be few and far between for some people, they are very realistic and hit the screen hard (the first major action scene was quite a shock and scared the crap out of me). The acting all-round is excellent and very realistic and as a big fan of Jeon Ji Hyun I was very moved by yet another breathtaking performance. Some viewers may find this film difficult to enjoy due to its intensity (the tone of the film shifts quite drastically about a third of the way in from light and happy to pretty sad and dramatic), that said, it's what makes the film as good as it is. Personally I was hooked from the moment I pressed play to the very end. So if you like top-notch Hong Kong action, full-on Korean drama and Jeon Ji Hyun, you'll love Daisy. |

The actors were casted very well. The location is really amazing. It liked it everytime the scene is taken in the farm full of flowers. But unfortunately, the story is not too exciting. A little of this and that... some action, looking at the wrong lover. Sad ending. But its worth watching. |

I am really big Jeon Ji Hyun fan which is why I bought the limited edition DVD. I'm not sure if the following comments are spoilers but i dont say much more than the professional review. so be warned. I bought the DVD based on all the great customer reviews. Everyone says it a wonderful romance. Not! Its a tragedy! I knew Jeon Ji Hyun wasn't going to be like her character in my sassy girl. I thought it would be something closer to her performance in il mare. THis movie is tragedy that frustrates. The assassin character is a stalker that gets creepier through the movie. I amazed at Jeon Ji Hyun character's reaction to the assassin at the end of the movie and her undying love for the interpol guy. Dont waste your money on this DVD. |

| Wowee. At first I thought this was going to be another one of those really lame love stories. Then the movie unexpectedly SPRINGS into action! Great flick. Completely surpassed my expectations. |

amazing..
| i adore this movie! Daisy had a very promising storyline and it was very well done. though i wasn't a big fan of the outcome i still enjoyed it as much. i feel as if the role of the police and snipper were opposites from the classic stereotype! Jeong Woo was more of a secretive and quiet person, whereas Park Yi was more cheery? and open to Hye Young, though in the beginning it wasn't like that at all. this is a movie worth watching. |

Intense movie....
|
You need to pay attention to every detail of this movie or you will miss parts. All the stars in the movie were excellent! I have been watching anything that Jung Woo Sung is in, mostly movies..."Moment to Remember", "Worriors", and "Mutt Boy"...all very good and different type of parts. Jun Ji Hyun is interesting actress because she is mostly in movies, only drama I can think of her in is "Happy Together". Watch her movies, "Windstruck" and "My Sassy Girl" with Cha Tae Hyun. If you are looking for something intense and good, than this is for you also... |

| I just watched the director's cut version of this movie and I liked it alot. The limited edition box is very nice too and even includes some frames from the film. I haven't seen the regular version yet, but I will since this is definitely a movie I'll watch several times. |

This movie was absolutly beautiful. The camera shots were well executed and the European countryside was wonderfully captured. I absolutly adored Jeon Ji-Hyun in this movie. She was so forlorn that every single smile she gave just made me want to hold onto it forever. It was weird hearing her speak English and as a matter of fact, she was pretty good. And amazingly enough, the english speaking actors were kept at just the right level of near non-existance. The love-triangle story is by no means new, but the execution and the way you can justify/relate to each characters actions makes the movie as good as it is. Like, even though one character is an assasin, you can easily come to grips with his love for the main character and why he feels that way... it is even clearer the second time you watch it. Bottom line: Absolutly beautiful movie with an equally beautiful soundtrack, the wonderful acting and suprisingly close-to-home (or possibly humble) feel of the story will make you want to watch it over and over. |
