Definitely one of the best Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I was very hesitate about watching this drama because of the time period. But it is THE FIRST Korean ancient drama I watched and I smacked myself for not watching it sooner. It is definitely one of the best Kdrama i watched. Ha Jiwon is probably at her best portraying this character and the two male lead actors also did excellent. You watch this drama and cannot not feel heart broken for each of the main characters. I haven't watched Dang Jeu Geum yet maybe I will soon.

this movie attract me is the cast of actor/ actress. they are acting so well and I starting to following their movie. the story is so tragic and I agree the director to put the end like the way it should be.

Love it!!!!! Action is ok. Lee Seo Jin is a big surprised here. Didn't know that his good doing action. I think his a good choice actor for this kind of movies and drama. If you liked him in Shadowless Sword, you'll like him better here. Ha ji Won is also very good. Stunts, action, tearsjerker all in one. Don't miss to get your copy.

I bought this dvd because ha ji won was good in BALI.
This is an example of a really great production with the director at the helm of good execution in all aspect: cinematography, sound effects, acting, story. Its good to watch, its like holding your breath all the time. This series is really good! Dont get me wrong, but Im now afraid to watch another of ha ji won series...she always ends up with a tragic fate.haaayyyyyyyy sigh.

 Nice sound tracks but.. Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Overall, a lot more pain and grief are portrayed in this series than any other K-dramas that I've had veiwed so far. At some point grief is so overwhelming that, one must ask: is this really an entertainment? Anyone who really had siblings or family members separated, this show will be so much more powerful and will take emotional toll, Knowing that Korea was divided and many people really did/still are suffering from separated families. Likewise if a food is too spicy, I usually graduate with an ice cream desert, for this show I had to liten to YO-yo Ma Cello suites. Must watch with own risk( If you like spicy food this show is a must watch, otherwise.. skip it ).

definitely worth watching Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The story is very engaging. At first I wasn't interested because the olden-days-era setting was a turn off. The ones my mom watched always bored me to death, but this one was different. It's only 14 episodes, and I was glued watching it. I know a lot of people were drawn to the love of Chae-Ok and Hwang-Bo, but I was drawn to the character Jang Sung-Baek. His gentle words and soft gaze towards Chae-Ok in one scene.. and also his passion, burning intensity & will - attracted me more towards their relationship. Though some people did not like that, I believe if they knew of their real relationship to each other (earlier) they would be just as happy to be united as brother and sister and find that their love was actually that of deep blood kinship. I am not even a fan of Ha Ji-Won and Lee Suh-Jin, but they gave a great performance.

After reading the review here, I decided to purchase this series. I had previously watched Dae Jang Geum and fell in love with Korean TV series. However, compared to Dae Jang Guem, the story and the filming of Damo were very poor. I did not like the actors and actresses too. I'm very disappointed. I personally don't think it's worth watching. I'm looking forward to "Great King and Four Gods".

this is the second historien k-drama after Dae jang geum. but i prefer Damo because of the wonderful story about a tragic love story, family tragedy and political conspiracy combined with beautiful martial arts scene. not forget: the actors were amazing
defenitly must see!!! you can't stop it. i watched until 3 o'clock in the morning!! it' worth!!

I think this is a good movie and its sad how she found out who her real brother was at the end when she killed him. That's sad! But eventually it's a really good movie to watch!!

this series is the best out of the best or to good to be true...it is rateless...the series is the best k-drama there ever is..ha ji won is the best along with her two co-stars...just buy it and give it up to esp. 3 and you will not regret...this series does not just contain good setting, characters, story..it has the best dialouge you could ever find...damo will touch your life...i have seen it a while now but still can't get over it...
