Actor Kevin Costner made his debut behind the camera--and won an Oscar for Best Director--with this celebrated epic. In 1865, Civil War hero Lt. John Dunbar (Costner) asks to be reassigned to the western frontier before it disappears. At his isolated post he develops a relationship with the peaceful Lakota Sioux and a white woman (an excellent, Oscar-nominated Mary McDonnell) who lives among them, finding greater kinship with them than with his own people. But his life with the Sioux is threatened when the Army appears, and Dunbar must decide where his loyalties truly lie. I've read in many sites that this dvd is region free... which is the truth?
Then... i don't know corean and chinese languages and i can't understand the details... in this edition are included postcards?

For all DVD fans of special editions - this one is simply a MUST.
It is not only the beautiful leather package...The main feature DANCES WITH WOLVES is presented in an astonishing treatment that even surpasses the US RC-1 Special Edition of the Director's Cut.
For real fans of this beautiful movie - this version is the ultimate edition worldwide !!!
