September 15, 2008 Decent film. Poor dvd. Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
Good film let down by poor picture quality and even worse sound. At least it's widescreen (although not anamorphic) with subs.

June 3, 2008 Another waste of Donnie Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
I'll try to keep this short and not so sweet. The film is slow to the point of being painful. The score is spoilt by the use of synthesizers instead of a live orchestra. Donnie Yen, once again is not used to the best of his ability and the quality of the actual dvd disc itself is dreadful.

May 15, 2007 Innacurate description Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
Annoyingly this 'tribute to kung fu's greatest hero' doesn't 'begin with rare footage of Lee and reflections by his close friends, including Kareem Abdul Jabbar' at all, as stated in the product description.
The original cinema release of the film did contain this footage however it was subsiquently removed for the video and later the dvd release. Unfortunately I believed what I read and went ahead and purchased. I knew the film itself was your usual lame Bruce Li effort but I bought in the hope that their was at least a modicum of actual Bruce Lee footage or at least an interview with Kareem.
The only reason I gave it one star is the quality of the print was very good. It's obviously been remastered. Shame some more worthy Kung Fu movies haven't been given the same treatment.

February 17, 2006 Utter rubbish Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
How anyone can give this dross more than no stars baffles me. None of the four main girls have any martial arts talent at all.

October 11, 2005 Nice package shame about the movie. Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
I was so disappointed by this movie. I ended up fast forwarding through large chunks of the dvd. With movies like Hero and House of Flying Daggers raising the bar in terms of Asian film making standards, it's sad to see a one time innovator like Tsui Hark apparently running out of ideas. The fight scenes are confused and rely far too heavily on wire work. Donnie Yen's outstanding talent is pitifully under used and the film's score is quite frankly abysmal.
