Buster (starring Eason Chan) is a bit player in a Cantonese Opera troupe who has never had a starring role. But when a ghost starts causing trouble during the productions, he soon finds himself being asked to play a female lead. After further investigation he learns that the ghost in fact is the spirit of an actress (Joey Yung) who died 60 years earlier when performing the same role, but what is more surprising is why he has been asked to perform it...

紫雲飛心願未了，死後不能全身輪迴，魂魄只好一分為二，一半去投胎，一半留在陽間找機會圓願，數十年後，去投胎的一半轉世為人，正是路初八，而做鬼的另一半卻一直遇不上適合「人」借身代唱，直至她找到「自己」，在紫雲飛威迫利誘之下，心無大志的初八最終亦答應上臺擔正做花旦，為前世唱完未了的樓臺會……
Pop stars NICHOLAS TSE and EASON CHAN star in this horror comedy. Low-level Chinese Opera actress who died 70 years ago, to reincarnate by restaging the opera of which she was famous for. As the date of the performance nears. however, backstage antics and strange accidents threaten to cancel the show, untill Yee decides to join the main cast as well. Only untill then does he realize the true purpose behind Faye's wish.

I would not call it a great movie
|
This movie was interesting in the beginning but toward the end, I started to lose interest . It has some funny moments but not fantastic. The concept was good initally but later on it sort of just rambling . Nicholas Tse looked good in the movie but his story line is a bit too short. |

Excellent
| I think this ia a really good movie! The actors had good act and I like the voice of the opera singner! But I was a little bit desapointed because the scenes between Ji Wan Faye and Chan Ho Fung are so shorts. We don't know if Chan Ho Fung came or not at the performance of Wan Faye. If no, why he didn't come?! I would like to know about that, it can make the movie more interesting!( I guess). |

OVERALL, GOOD MOVIE
| Eason acted very well as a girl and it looked very realistic. The storyline of Joey and Nic's "love" was okay. Nic looked cute though. I wouldn't say their love would make one cry. The movie isn't a touching one but is quite funny. There's bound to be several chucks throughout. And the most hilarious part of the whole movie was when Eason was getting molested. LOL. Eason and Joey weren't too bad in acting. Joey didn't show much acting though. Her role was kind of dull. But the movie itself had good morals: complete tasks to the end even if no "people" are watching. (it's an insider joke--you'll have to watch the movie to get it). |

| It's not the best. Cause when I hear Demi-Haunted, I would've expected scary shit. In the beginning, it was. But then it kinda started going towards comedy. I actually didn't know Nicholas was gonna be in this movie, till I watched it. IT WAS WORTH IT =D he was GREAT in it, along with Eason. But I sort of though Joey wasn't the best, but her singing, WAH, blew me away. It's a good movie I guess, and did anyone see the video at the end ?!! NICHOLAS DID SEE JOEY PERFORM BEFORE SHE DIED !! |

Great Movie with its subtle meaning
| THis movie was actually not that bad..I would admit that it got a bit confusign at times but I really liked the ending. THe beginning seemed like a 'no brain" movie but the true menaign appears when the ghost of the boss of the actign troup spoke to eason about acting. So for those who still haven't realized it (becuase only paying attention to Nic), the menaign of the movie is that no matter what one does, he must continue it to the end. One should not stop in teh middle of somethign because it becomes hard or because there's no one to watch. stay determined and do your very best, even if there's no "people" watching. Good meaning. I haven't seen any recent movies with such good morals. |
