ah leah dizon, everyones favourite import model turned amateur jpop idol. her album reached a considerable high, noting that she only recently started learning japanese and started singing 'professionally', etc. but when you look at the finer details, you notice TOO much of her success is from her looks. the songs that have done well come with PVs with her wearing boner-inducing outfits and kicking reeeally high, and she seems to be releasing as many picture books as singles. but the actual songs on the cd? 'softly' was the first song i heard from leah and i didnt think it was too bad. then came 'koi shiyou' which was so heavily layered, it seemed like leahs voice was the intended background music. then 'l.o.v.e u' which was sickeningly childlike made me lose all hope in her being a respectable songwriter. leah dizon has said that she wanted her album to be well-rounded and a mixture of songs, but all that has resulted is an inconsistent album, lacklustre lyrics and proof that race queens should stick to posing by amped up honda civics. |

Catchy and enjoyable
Catchy and enjoyable
| This album is a mix of pop/dance/R&B songs, the melodies enter in your head at first listen. I personally don't find any of these songs terrible, my favourites are ''IMPOSSIBLE'', ''Missing'', ''Koi Shiyou'', ''Unmeisen'', ''Softly'', ''Aishiteru -Love Story-'' and ''Drive me crazy''. I must say that Leah hasn't got a great voice so, for the ones who care a lot about the artist's voice, this album could seem worse than which it is. |

| sure her vocals are just... but I have to give her credit for actually having some pretty catchy songs, and she did write the lyrics for many of her songs. Could You Be That One? is a wonderful song! I would say it's the best song on this album. I just left that song on repeat forever, can't really get sick of it. and we all know just how beautiful she is lol |

Horrible Debut Album
Horrible Debut Album
| Having heard all of the songs on the album, I feel that Leah Dizon's 'Destiny Line' is a lackluster and overall boring album. Compared to the myriad of fluffy pop idols in Japan, Leah is indistinguishable save for her penchant for overt sexuality. I guess that really works to her advantage since she's not a very talented singer by any stretch of the imagination. As for her songs, you've got a pretty standard mixture of generic pop tunes and dull love songs with no standouts. Do yourself a huge favor and just look right past Leah Dizon to someone more worthwhile. |

After listening to leah dizon's new album , i feel that its not that bad after all ! there are some really nice songs eg. Impossible , Unmei - Sen , time , again and again ... etc IMPOSSIBLE - a really nice party song Unmei - Sen - an ideal song to listen to when you're relaxing Are you feelin' for me? - although this song have the worst vocal in the whole album , the song genre is actually quite unique ! Time ( clock of the heart ) - this song got a retro feeling / touch and it is sang in english ,i luv her and the background vocalists voices ... Again And Again - i was quite suprised she actually wrote this song with her bro ! because this song is fantastic , this prove to some of her haters that she is not talentless ! although this song is simple , leah actually brings out the flavoursss of this song , in fact i feel that she should sing more of her own songs where she can handle the song's emotions . etc , in addition , the tune is also qute dreamy and unique too ! In conclusion , quite a good try by a debut artist despite of her " not so good " vocals ! This album is ideal to listen to when you're driving ! |
