No substance Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
You'd think the writers would somehow attempt to get the audience to bond with the characters & then make plot twists...well "twisty". For some reason not even the "too pretty" looks & charming buddy looks of Daniel Wu & Stephen Fung, respectively, are a good enough draw to have this movie count for any re-play value. There's no substance or depth; making this story a wash, the movie a waste of film & 90minutes of my life that I would like back.

Devil Face Angel Heart is probably referring to Daniel Wu's character in this movie. The story is about Daniel Wu needing to take revenge for the death of his brother. He has to find a way to worm his way into the bad guy's place to do it. This movie is sex combined with violence. Hated it. It was bad.

Ummm......I wonder why Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Just finished watching this today. It's not that bad. I did get the feeling that Gigi was confiding in Daniel and it was only when the brothers were at the pier that I realized that it was Gigi's plot. So, in that sense, there was a plot and Gigi's acting ability to bring it across.

Perhaps the DVD I purchased had been through censorship board because I didn't see those intimate scenes described in other reviews of this board. Anyways, on the whole, it's not the greatest but not that bad. And boy, Daniel is really good looking.

Could've been a better movie Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
The movie started out somewhat promisingly; however, at times, the plot seemed to drag on and getting nowhere. I felt the movie dragged the most was during the pre-transitional phase, which set up the stage, that completely change the character of Daniel Wu's life forever. A few perks of this movie includes (but are not mutually exclusive) are: Daniel Wu's good body, the brief encounter between Daniel and Stephen and the deformed character that Daniel portrayed in the beginning. I think Daniel acted quite well for the "Quasimodo" part (besides his character is not hunchback) in the beginning, but I didnt' think he performed as well at the latter part of the movie. The ending turned out to be somewhat surprising, and it is such an abrupt and poor way to end. After all, every director and script writer should try to give the audience a memorable ending so they will remember teh movie better. All in all, the movie wasn't as bad, but it could've been better.

big fan of Stephen Fung but Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
i am a big fan of Stephen Fung and have always found him to be the most handsome actor with a sweet and outgoing personality. he's like a teddy bear you just want to kiss and hug him. but i disappoint in this movie very much because Stephen Fung is hardly in this movie at all. daniel wu hogs up the entire screen time and of course it is because he is the main lead role. daniel wu is disgusting in this movie he sucks on the ladies two points and not only that but he takes off his clothes again in this movie. why does he always take off his clothes. what like he is the only one that gots muscles. heck lots of other people have better bods than him. other people gots muscles and pecks too you know. anyways this movie is not worth it.
