Brigitte Lin and Chin Xiang Lin display winning screen chemistry in the lovely Taiwanese romance Different Love. But when Wen Lun gets in with Hsiao Yu's father, that may be all she wrote. Can Hsiao Yu safely choose her preferred man - Wen Hsing Yu - if it ends up leaving her father in trouble? Brigitte Lin and Chin Xiang Lin were frequent co-stars in the seventies Taiwanese cinema scene, and appeared together in Come Fly With Me, The Love Affair of Rainbow, and Misty Moon, among others. Different Love is a pleasing, enjoyable showcase for the beloved screen couple, and most especially Brigitte Lin, who was never quite so lovely and fetching as in her seventies Taiwanese romances.
