As the title itself says, the 1st Live Tour of Tohoshinki in Japan was recommendable, as expected from the five-member band who was just starting to build up its name the time this concert took place.

The concert was small, surprisingly. I was expecting quite a crowd, but was totally shocked when I saw how condensed everybody was in this fine space. The person at the farthest end of the room would have still been able to make out the boys' costumes.

The concert itself was short, very direct. There weren't a lot of talks and the songs were done perfectly. Too perfect that the atmosphere was quite tensed. But that is to be expected.

Costumes were, as far as I can recall, very funky, i guess. They were a lot similar, with each costume change, but they suited the theme of each song.

The boys looked great, Jaejoong, especially, but I'm his fan, so maybe I'm biased. Anyway, the dance, especially the one in Try My Love, was definitely worth seeing.

A plus point for the concert being small was that the camera had no other shots but those up close, and so we get to see more of the boys' reactions and their dance moves. Every move is captured, how very fortunate for you if it captures the moves of the your favorite DBSK member.

All in all, it wasn't a bad concert. It certainly made an impression on those who came. But it wasn' the best. For the first concert, though, I give two thumbs up for them. It's not easy to have done such a feat!

I received this dvd just yesterday and even though I still haven't finished watching it whole, I love it.
The stage is simple, the crowd is small, and the boys are mainly serious - but the performance is amazing.
I own their other concert dvd's like T, Five in Black and O, but this one is my favorite.
It has a completely different feel to it. On this dvd, they're not teenage idols - they are singers, artists even.
Sweat and tears, you can feel it here. The camera is fantastic, it captures their soul, emotions, voices, passion...
I'm thrilled with this dvd.
The last song they performed, One, brought tears to my eyes. The audience is singing with them and in the background are playing their old training clips.
Really amazing.
So, I definitely recommend buying this.

 Extreme Poor Video Quality! Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
I regret getting this video! The concert was excellent in content and very poor in video quality. You get to appreciate the on-stage TVXQ singing and dancing, trying their hardest to give their best. But the video quality is very bad at the first half of the concert. The packaging is just plain plastic with one CD. The quality of this video package does not commensurate the price. I've just ordered the Japanese version which I should have done so in the first place. But I do appreciate the comment from SarangAsianMusic. But as a TVXQ fan and collector, try to get the best quality video you can get, especially for their concerts!

This performance is love. I really like it coz I can see them closely & they were totally amazing. The stage was simple but it doesn't matter at all. The simplest thing is always the best. They improved a lot when I compare with FITB concert. True collectors must get this, really worthy.

 Very small and calming... Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I'm used to seeing TVXQ perfoming in huge stadiums and arenas..., but this concert was small and I kinda loved it.

The atmosphere was very calming and you could actually hear them sing becuase there weren't too many screaming fans. Also, with the stage being smaller, the camera man was able to close in on the members easier.

The perfomances were great, but my top three were:

Try My Love
Breaking the Shell
My Destiny (i loved yunho's into and the was they ended this song)

The only downside is that they didn't smile a lot, but that's understandable because this was during a time when they were having problems with japanese. However, I appreciate their seriousness and honesty of the situation. Fake smiles are worse than no smiles at all.

They smiled so much more in the Five in the Black concert. ^_^ I hope they'll continue to smile...

the concert itself is GREAT! which ever company that does the filming of their japanese concerts know what their doing. this version doesn't come with any goodies so that was a dissapointment, it was just a box and a DVD. all their other concerts were packaged with more stuff, so this one seemed a little empty. only the first press included the 24pg booklet.

the packaging might not be as great as the rising sun concert dvd.. but nonetheless its still great. theres nothing in this concert dvd that i'd dislike. the camera work is beautiful. its asif you're watching a mv because it seems so planned out.
its a performance by dong bang shin ki as well.. sooo.. obviously the performance is outstanding as it is already. but seriously.. the camera works adds onto it.
audio? perfect.
all songs were sung live.
its truly worth buying~

Great concert !!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
If you like their first japanese album "Heart, Mind and Soul", you should even hesitate to buy it ! If there are some songs you didn't like, you should see them live and then you'll probably change your mind since they're so well sang ! What i like is also that we hear very well the voices... There are some extra footage, which consists in their talking during the concert (MC) and backstage during the tour. There are many funny things.
I chose this version because i wanted the 24 pages booklet in it, in which you can see some images of the concert but also beautiful images of them filming the PV of "Sky" !
I would have liked Korean subtitles during the songs, since they did Japanese subtitles in the Korean concert, but here it's only when they talk.

Happiness, the DVD arrived today and I just finished watching it.
To begin with, I love DBSK's Japanese Album. All the songs on their Heart, Mind & Soul album is just great. Seeing them performing in a Live Tour singing these songs is breath taking and I some how feel very connected. Their dance moves are awsome. Overall a great performance.

The images are very clear and the close up shots are perfect. It would be even better if they English sub it because the guys gave a short comment back stage after their performance.

If you are a DBSK fan, you should add this DVD to your collection. I know I will be watching this DVD over and over again.

TVXQ's new work of art~~~~ haha~~ ofcouse is a must buy for me~~~LOL~~~can't wait to see it~~~ still have to wait for another 2 months~~ T___T ~~hoping to see more of their changes and their great work~~ too bad that i can't go to Japan and see their live this year~~ but next year~~~ if they have another live~~ i will go for sure~~~ so i don't have to just wait for the DVD's~~ LOL~~~ i put all of my support to TVXQ~~ best luck for them all~~~
