Beautiful
This song has to be one of their most beautiful ballads. Their soft voices will make you in a dreamy daze. Their stron vocals will cause you to shed tears in your eyes. I happen to know someone who used this song at her wedding. That is how beautiful this song is. Please buy this singles, it's so good.

Begin - A Touching Single
Begin - A Touching Single
Begin is one of my favorite songs from DBSK. Their genuine and powerful vocals are nicely shown in this song. The song is very heartwarming and tender with the touching lyrics. JaeJoong really brings out the feelings to this song. I love it!

It's a Disappointing Ablum!
It's a Disappointing Ablum!
Hmm. What they need to "Begin" is to begin practicing their vocals more. Quite disppointing vocal performances from most of the members - since they're old timers now. They need to get out of formula songs from Yoo Young Jin or SM style.

Great Vocals, Beautiful Song
Great Vocals, Beautiful Song

Dong Bang Shin Ki, as known in Korea, has finally released their 5th Japanese single, Begin. Begin is a ballad single that uses beautiful lyrics that are aplified by each member's unique voice. Dong Bang Shin Ki has grown from their "HUG" days into singers worthy of crossing over into the "foreign" Asian market. Each member has improved their vocals and have gained experience beyond their young years. Begin is a repeat-worthy song that will have you singing along as you learn the lyrics. JaeJoong (Hero) does an excellent job in briging the feeling into the song with the chorus "Every day, Every night with you..." JunSu's powerful voice brings extra feeling to the song as he takes up the background vocals. YunHo is finally given a chance to "put his voice on display." Usually, he is always given the rap or background parts, but this time he adds to this beautifully constructed song with his unique vocal traits. YuCheon begins the song by saying "it's okay to cry at times"--this automatically sets the whole tone of the song. Each member's unique vocal traits are on display here, but together, ToHoShinKi (their name in Japan), is a powerful vocal force to be wreckoned with. From "Stay With Me Tonight" to "Begin," ToHo Shin Ki proves that their vocals are improving and why their popularity all over Asia is increasing. The b-side to this single, "High Time," is also an upbeat track--the opposite to "Begin." It has more of a disco-esque feel to it. JunSu takes the lead in this song with his powerful voice. I recommend this song to anyone who likes Japanese music and consider it to be one of ToHo Shin Ki's best Japanese songs. Even if you aren't a ToHo Shin Ki/Dong Bang Shin Gi fan, give it a try. You just may be amazed at their beautiful vocals. They're not just a pretty face--they're so much more. |

Wow! They're Really Bad!
Wow! They're Really Bad!
What a disappointing singles album from a veteran boy band group. Except for Xiah, none of the other members improved from their second album. Let's face it, with cuter new comers like SS 501 and Super Junior, the days of selling album based on looks are starting to end for this boy band. With this type of mediocre vocals, they better shape up in the future - otherwise, they may find themselves breaking up and finding something else to do.
