 It's Absolutely Beautiful! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Just got this artist photo book this afternoon and I've already looked at it 6 or 7 times. What it means is that I really love it and I think some of TVXQ's members best photos are here in the book.

When I first turned to the 1st and 2nd page, I already knew it was going to be a good photo book because the colors and style are of excellent quality and they remind me of other Japanese photo books that I own. And I was right because the photo book has turned out to be really beautiful. There are fewer pictures of TVXQ as compare to their Paris series, but the quality of photography is excellent and some pictures are outstanding.

I guess this is called the artist book because it is produced with complimentary pictures next to the members pictures for enhancement or contrasting purposes. There are pictures of flowers, ferns, metal wires, a house front yard with flower plants, a car's front hood with a license plate of 18-21 (I guess roughly their ages in 2007), blue skies and what else?

TVXQ's happy, carefree, somewhat relaxed mood, youthfulness and their individual characters are well captured in the pictures.

My favorites: Their individual silhouette pictures against the evening sky; their individual and group night outing pictures; their individual light color pictures; Xiah and Micky's picture in front of a wall; group picture at the warehouse; group pictures at a stair case in front of a house; the lively concert pictures,... etc. It just takes up the whole book! lol!

My copy is the 7th printing and I don't really care because it is really good enough for me.

To TVXQ fans: get it and treasure it!

 Nice, but different type of photography Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I actually found this photobook at an anime convention (Otakon in Baltimore, MD). I'm really surprised how much Tohoshinki has spread among the masses. I've been going to conventions for years and they never had Tohoshinki merchandise, but this year, vendors had their two latest singles 'Share the World' and 'Stand By U', their latest album 'The Secret Code', and surprisingly, this photobook from 2007.

As soon as I saw it, I bought it because I always forget to buy it when I'm on yesasia. I paid about four dollars more than what's posted here ($50)).

The only regrettable aspect is that this original Japanese version doesn't come with the making DVD but the korean version does. This makes NO sense whatsoever since this is a JAPANESE photobook... -___-

Anyway, this book is not hardback, but the paper is thick. The picture quality is really nice, but be forewarned that this photogrphy is different from their other photobooks. The shots aren't all glamour shots and focuses more on the setting they are in and their contrast with their surrondings. Some of the shots are reallt nice, lit, and straight foreward while some are at off angles and take a more artistic approach. In the back of the book, there are pictures from their second live tour (2007 Five in the Black Tour in Budokan) and interviews with the members in japanese.

Overall, I'm happy I bought this when I saw it. Nothing compares to actually being about to buy Tohoshinki merchandise by hand rather than by the computer. I really like the nice shots of the boys against white backgrounds where you really get to see their faces up close. They look so heavenly. ^_^

It took a very long time for me to get this item, I am not totally sure why, but I definitely think it was worth the wait. I ordered this version, not the Korean one, because I don't have any way of viewing Region 3 DVDs. I'm slightly disappointed that this version did not come with it's own DVD, but otherwise I am very pleased with the product.

The pictures are beautiful, although I could have dealt with more of the boys, and less scenery pictures. Still, they add the overall beauty of the book, and I'm glad it is now in my collection. A nice extra is the the interviews in the back of the book, and although I can't read Japanese yet, it'll be worth it when I can. =D
