August 17, 2006 Thank You....The DVD is great. Finally they smartin up and put the series on DVD with no edits. Excellent!!! The only minor complaint I might have is the sound. The sound often will drop to a very low volume and then rise to a very high level, but if you find the magic number on your volume control you should be fine. I own the VCD version and I am dumping that out. This DVD set is great. Sure bring back memories when I was a kid. Ultimately, this is a must get if you are a fan. I hate the fact where they cut scenes out and then placed extra sound tracks in. The original sound track was fine, the original music was placed through out the series perfectly. It did not need any new music, especially techno music. I just hope a unedited DVD version releases soon. If there is a petition for one then hey sign me up. Did you find this review helpful? February 21, 2006 Thank you finally for DVD release...I have to say that its great to finally see the DVD version of this series. I purchased the VCD version and I felt cheated. The DVD version is a whole different story. Its great. No cuts and no added sound track. Everything is original. Nothing was altered. The quality is great. I never seen this series in its entirely so crisp clear. If you are fan, this is a must.
Now I just hope they will do DVD uncut version of Legend Of The Condor Heroes. If I need to petition for that series too, let me know where and I'll sign up.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
