Drama Holic

Be it great writing, fantastic acting, or a story that captures your imagination, once you fall for one of these great dramas it's hard to let go of it. Dramaholic is a compilation born out of that concept, grouping together memorable songs from four of the important Korean dramas of recent years - Ruler of Your Own World, Damo, Ireland, and My Lovely Sam-Soon.

Ruler of Your Own World became for many the soundtrack of that memorable summer of 2002, when Korea advanced to the World Cup semi-final and Korean TV experienced one of the absolute classics of the last ten years. Starring Yang Dong Geun and Lee Na Young in career-making performances, this drama also has one of the best soundtracks of the year, here represented by LINK, JM and Lee Hyun Wook. Another step in MBC's historical drama revolution, Damo starring Ha Ji Won became a landmark genre piece with its memorable dialogue and fantastic production values. Part of this compilation are the two most famous ballads from the show, sung by Kim Bum Soo and Page. Rounding out the compilation are the vastly underrated Ireland, telling the story of four alienated urbanites (played by Lee, Hyun Bin, Kim Min Jung and Kim Min Joon), and 2005 sensation My Lovely Sam Soon, which made Kim Sun Ah and Hyun Bun big stars in Korea and overseas. The show turned Cinderella dramas upside down with its irreverent tone and storyline, represented here by Jiseon of Loveholic.
