Top-rated drama Dreams Link is the latest adaptation from the pen of popular writer Qiong Yao, whose long list of works include favorites like Princess Returning Pearl and Romance in the Rain. This fanciful fairy tale drama revolves around the romantic encounters of two "dream girls", sisters Ziling (newcomer Zhang Jiani) and Luping (Qin Lan), and their Prince Charmings, played by Hong Kong star Alex Fong Chung Sung and Mainland heartthrob Bao Jianfeng. Qiong Yao also especially wrote a new character for the series, the young and energetic Liu Yusan played by Taiwanese idol drama starlet Joanne Tseng. The cast and crew traveled all the way to France for location shooting, painting a beautiful love story backdropped by rolling fields of lavender and the city lights of Paris.

I love this drama a lot! I watched the 1996 production with Vivian Chen and Xiao Qing (if I'm not mistaken). My mother and I watched it many times although we don't understand Chinese. I think this remake also good, although my favorite one is still the Vivian Chen's version. I really wish both versions could be made with English subtitle, so many people who doesn't understand Chinese could also enjoy it. So please release it with English sub. |

I'hv watched this series many times even I can not understand Chinese and it should do have a lot of people that may do have same problem as me. So recommend to release it with English Subtitle,please. |

i managed to catch a few episodes and it is very good! since i do not speak chinese, is there any chance that this drama will have english subtitles??? without that, not many people will be able to watch this. |

I have watched the original Dream Links (published about 15 20 years ago). It was an excellent movie, of course, since it was written by Qiong Yao. Our family has watched almost every TV series by her. However, compared to todays standards of acting, some of the scenes did not measure up, as they were either a little bit out of style, seemed unnatural, or dragged on a little bit too long. When my 80+ year old mother watched the new release of this movie in California, she could not wait for the next day to air the next episode. She is not the type of person to watch too many television dramas, but when we bought and started watching this movie, we were totally surprised by the following points: 1) the actors skills were superb, and the quality of their skills were almost comparable to those in the top-rated Korean television dramas 2) the series kept the original music through a modern style, perfectly matching the older version of the movie 3) many of the instances and events were altered, but did not lose Qiong Yaos original intent, 4) we felt that the new movie matched the old movie very well, but had much more content 5) all the uncomfortable, old-style, tedious movie scenes of the old movie have been replaced with fast-pace, to-the-point, clever, modern-style scenes that hit the spot in peoples hearts 6) many expressions and unspoken gestures of love perfectly depicted the authors intentions between human relationships 7) the biggest plus about this movie was the video quality the widescreen quality and scenery topped many of the movies we have seen in theatres. The only drawback was that, for this high-quality of a Chinese movie, there should have been English subtitles, so that more people could enjoy it. We loved it so much we bought another copy as a Christmas gift for a friend. |

| A very Romantics Drama, no regret watching. If only it could have an English subtitles, it would be excellent. All the sound track music and songs are so....nice. |
