A dream collection for Eason fans
A dream collection for Eason fans
| Forty-eight Eason Chan songs for this low price? You can't beat it! I bought Eason's first album back in the mid-90s and didn't much like it. Consequently, in the intervening years I haven't paid much attention to his music. However, in the last couple years, I heard some of his recent songs on compilation albums and thought they sounded great, so I decided to give this album a try. I'm very glad that I did. The songs in this collection are of consistently high quality. CDs 1 and 2 are ballad-heavy disks; CD3 includes lots of dance numbers. I was pleasantly surprised by the interesting songwriting and imaginative musical arrangements found on these tracks and by Eason's very pleasing vocals. Chan keeps his singing in tune and under control and always seems to be looking to challenge himself with something a little different. I recommend this collection very highly. |
