East of Eden OST Vol. 2 (MBC TV Drama)

Celebrating their 47th anniversary, MBC presents East of Eden, a star-studded blockbuster epic marking the return to television of hallyu superstar Song Seung Heon. Song is joined by a stunning lineup of cast members, including Lee Da Hae (My Girl), Lee Yeon Hee (One Fine Day), Han Ji Hye (Sweet 18), and Yeon Jung Hoon (Sad Love Story). A period epic that spans the years 1960 to 2000, East of Eden tells a saga of the bitter rivalry between two men who are eternally bound by fate.

Following the release of the drama's first soundtrack in August, East of Eden OST Vol. 2 hits shelves in November with an equally strong ensemble of contributing artists including Lee Seung Chul, KCM, Brown Eyed Girls, Black Pearl, and even leading man Song Seung Heon. Veteran Lee Seung Chul croons the main theme, piano ballad "Can You Hear Me?" (Track 1), while Black Pearl and Brown Eyed Girls cross over for "Ugly Love" (Track 3). Song Seung Heon goes soft and soulful for his cover of ballad "As Time Passes" (Track 3), featured as an insert song in the drama.

MBC 드라마 '에덴의 동쪽' 배경음악으로 뜨거운 관심을 받고 있는 '듣고 있나요'와 '세월이 가면'의 뮤직비디오가 오는 26일 공개된다.

'듣고 있나요' 뮤직비디오는 '에덴의 동쪽' 명장면을 본격적으로 편집해 드라마의 감동을 짧은 뮤직 비디오로도 충분히 느낄 수 있도록 제작됐다.

송승헌이 직접 불러 화제가 된 '세월이 가면'은 '국자커플' 송승헌-이연희의 멜로신 중 편집 과정에서 삭제된 미방영분을 중심으로 뮤직비디오가 제작됐다.

'에덴의 동쪽'은 지난 8월 26일 첫 방송이후 SG워너비, 김종욱, 김연지(씨야), 이해리(다비치), 이정민, 김진호, 등이 참여한 OST Part.1을 배경음악으로 사용해왔으나 17일 방송된 25회분부터 이승철, KCM, 브라운 아이드 걸스, 블랙펄, 손성훈 등이 참여한 OST Part.2를 드라마에 삽입하고 있다.

특히 '에덴의 동쪽' OST Part.2의 메인 테마곡인 '듣고 있나요'는 방송 직후부터 '무슨 곡이냐' '누가 불렀냐' 등 화제를 모은데 이어 송승헌의 요청으로 이승철이 노래를 부르게된 사실이 알려지며 더욱 관심을 집중시킨바 있다.
