Good Edison Chen compilation Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Edison Chen - The Best Collection is a good compilation with songs from his earlier days to more recent works. I have collected all of his CD albums and can say that he improved in his singing and especially in his pronunciation. When I first listened to his first mandarin CD, I was pretty impressed by his Mandarin pronunciation. Sometimes I think his Mandarin pronunciation is better than his Cantonese pronunciation. But in general, this CD compilation of his best hit songs is quite good and displays how he went from being an okay singer to a much improved singer. At first his style was very pop and then went to hip hop/rap. I think hip hop/rap is a good style for him.

Good For Reasons You Wouldn't Suspect Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
The Best Collection is pretty cool. It's the first cd I've ever listened to of Cantonese Hiphop. I thought some of the songs from the beginning of Edison Chen's career were also fun. However, I must confess the reason why I liked the collection (particularly disc #1) is because a lot of song styles are extremely familiar. From the beginning I could hear that Mr. Chen pays homage to Hiphop artists that he likes by using their styles and adding his own little twist. And oddly it works pretty well. It's truly a fun album.

Best Collection!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Hey put your drink down, i need ur attention!

The album is hip hop/pop. Although it does not contain all his best old songs (Edison's cd 'hits or misses' has that) it excellent. The songs are more from his previous 2 albums(Please steal this album/Hazy:The 144 Hour project).
Edi began by singing ballard songs and did a little raps in da middle which was good. Now he's moved into hip hop style with Hanjin, MC Yan and Chef, which suits him better! This album is a mix of his old songs and new ones the album Hazy. The cd includes hits like Blue skies ft Stephy, Hong Kong Dei, Pointless(sye hei) & Are you happy?(track6 cd2).
His old songs to look out are 6 & 8 on CD2.
The rest are mostly hip hop. Recommend tracks 3,5,7,12, and 13 for cd1. Cd2 look out for: 1,5,6,8,12. The cd brings out the best of him, you realise he has changed and improved alot. People who like hip hop should try out this album because Edison can rap!!!
Im listening to his music now,(rap): "So thats why my fones on vibrate, so I dont need to hessitate, so if da caller is somone i happen 2 hate, its a thing my life neccitates"!
