一匹狼ながらも人情家のヤクザ・英二は、刑期を終えて無事に出所を果たす。英二は出所を機に、長らく音信不通になっている妹を捜して、熊本に赴いた。熊本で地元ヤクザの客人となった英二は、やがて敵対する組からの刺客を撃退する。そんな英二のもとに、美しい中国人女性・梅花が送られてきた。英二は梅花を優しく扱い、梅花も次第に英二に惹かれていく。そんなか、英二は妹と再会するために、捨てたはずの故郷・鹿児島に向かったのだが…。
伝説のTVドラマ「とんぼ」「英二ふたたび」の放映後に製作された、「とんぼ」の続編とも呼べる劇場版。長渕剛が一匹狼ながらも人情家のヤクザ・英二に扮し、スクリーンに熱いメッセージを叩きつける。映像特典として、フォト・ギャラリーなどが収録されている。
