After inspiring an anime series, hit TV dramas in Taiwan and Japan, and a blockbuster movie, Kamio Yoko's immensely popular romance manga Hana Yori Dango comes to Korean television! KBS's highly anticipated Boys Over Flowers spins the modern-day Cinderella tale of a poor, but spunky schoolgirl at an exclusive academy who attracts the interests of the four ultra-rich and ultra-handsome princes of the school known as F4. Ku Hye Sun from The Strongest Chil Woo and The King and I stars as the tough-cookie heroine of the drama. As for the male leads, meet Korea's F4: breakout star Lee Min Ho from school dramas I Am Sam and Mackerel Run, idol heartthrob Kim Hyun Joong from boy band SS501, rising star Kim Bum (East of Eden), and Kim Jun of pop group T-max.

Tough, hardworking Geum Jan Di (Ku Hye Sun) attends an exclusive school, but she finds her shallow, privileged classmates unbearable, especially the notorious F4. Rich, handsome, and arrogant, Goo Joon Pyo (Lee Min Ho), Yoon Ji Hoo (Kim Hyun Joong), Song Woo Bin (Kim Joon), and So Yi Jung (Kim Bum) are the kings of the school and no one, not even the teachers, dare challenge them. No one, that is, except Jan Di. Angry at their rudeness, Jan Di tells off F4 leader Joon Pyo, bringing a world of trouble upon herself. The proud and persistent Joon Pyo falls hard for feisty Jan Di, but she shares a connection with the quiet, sensitive Ji Hoo. Caught between the two friends, who will Jan Di choose?

The runaway hit of 2009, Boys Over Flowers attracted high viewership ratings and buzz throughout its broadcast, turning its young cast into household names and starting off a Kgotboda Namja trend in Korea. Lee Min Ho, Korean entertainment's newest poster boy, won the Best Newcomer Actor award at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards, while co-star Kim Hyun Joong took the Popularity Award. Boys Over Flowers also features supporting appearances from Han Chae Young (Tale of Autumn) as Ji Hoo's first love, Kim Hyun Ju (Glass Slippers) as Joon Pyo's sister, and Kim So Eun (Sad Love Song) as Jan Di's best friend.

This edition comes with an exclusive 34-page photobook.

  • Sunlight Upon Me (DVD) (End) (English Subtitled) (MBC TV Drama Series) (US Version) DVD Region 1 Ryu Si Won (Actor) | Kim So Yeon (Actor) | Park Kwang Hyun | Yoo Seon
Broadcast in 2002, Sunlight Upon Me stars two of Korea's top stars - Ryu Si Won (Beautiful Days, Wedding) and Kim So Yeon (The Grand Chef) - in an inspiring melodrama about a small-town girl who finds success as a home shopping host. Contrary to her stylish, ice-queen character in All About Eve, Kim plays a plucky, down-to-earth go-getter who after giving up her college education moves to the big city in search of her dreams. Playing her love interest is the gentle-spirited Ryu who portrays a top-notch lawyer. Sunlight Upon Me not only served as guilty pleasure for the many who occasionally catch themselves making impulse purchases through late-night infomercials but also generated huge interest in the profession.

Frugal and hard-working Yeon Woo (Kim So Yeon) makes ends meet working in fisheries in the small town of Sokcho. Her life makes a dramatic turn when Dong Seok (Ryu Si Won), an in-house lawyer for a large home shopping corporation, travels down to her hometown to perform some damage control regarding litigation filed against the company by Sokcho's fishery union. His negotiation with the local union soon turns into a confrontational brawl, and Dong Seok, out of fit, jumps into the water. It is Yeon Woo who saves him and takes him to her house for a change of clothes. Before leaving, Dong Seok offers to return her favor when she visits Seoul, an offer she soon takes up as she begins a turbulent new life and romance in the big city.

Comes with 20-minute previews of Forever Yours, One Fine Day, Secret, and Truth.

  • Princess Ja Myung Vol. 1 of 2 (DVD) (6-Disc) (English Subtitled) (SBS TV Drama) (Korea Version) DVD Region 1, 3 Jung Kyung Ho (Actor) | Jeong Ryeo Won (Actor) | Park Min Young (Actor) | Moon Sung Keun
My Lovely Sam-Soon's Jeong Ryeo Won makes her costume debut in the epic SBS historical drama Princess Ja Myung. Co-starring heartthrob Jung Kyung Ho (Time Between Dog and Wolf) and rising actress Park Min Young (Unhindered High Kick), Princess Ja Myung draws from a historical folk story about the Princess of Nangnang and the Prince of Goguryeo who remained lovers despite their nations being at war with each other.

Jeong Ryeo Won plays eponymous heroine Princess Ja Myung, who is born in the Kingdom of Nangnang on the same day as her half-sister Princess Ra Hee (Park Min Young). According to a prophecy, one princess will save the kingdom, while the other will bring destruction. Branded as the princess of destruction, Ja Myung barely escapes death, and grows up humbly as a commoner. As a young woman, she eventually returns to her rightful place in the palace, but her appearance sets off a new round of power struggle in the palace. When both Ja Myung and Ra Hee fall in love with Prince Ho Dong (Jung Kyung Ho) of rival kingdom Goguryeo, it is not just love but the very fate of the nation that lies at stake.
