Now, onto the review. In general.. the first thing you're going to think is "Wow! This is quite different." But when you give the songs a few listens, they still have that uplifting feeling that NEWS gives off. Also, it's much less biased to YamaPi. Which makes me very happy!
Hoshi wo Mezashite - A very pretty song. Everyone gets a solo part, which is great. For those of you who understand Japanese, the lyrics perfectly desribe NEWS's situation.
Boom! Boom! POWER - Woah! Much different than NEWS's old stuff. But I have to say I love it for a very good reason: Shige has the main part in this song. Yes, Shige has the MAIN part. Amazing.
Best Friend - Not an extremely striking song, but very very cute! Again, everyone gets a solo, and Tegoshi Yuya's vocal at the very beginning is heavenly ^^

December 28, 2006 Still Listening!Actually, I bought this album a LOOONG time ago. But I felt that since NewS's reunion is so close, that I'd review this for new fans!
Undoubtedly, the first thing everyone will listen to is "Cherish." Haha! That's everyone's favorite, huh? Well, admitedly, I love it too. And the remixed version is even better, if you ask me! But for me, my favorite songs are "Say Hello," and .... okay, yeah, "Cherish."
I totally recommend this to everyone! And I'm not just saying that because I'm totally in love with Tegoshi Yuya (>_>;)
Really! Buy it! Buuuuy ittt!

December 18, 2006 Excellent!Well, I've always been a fan of Tegoshi Yuya because he's just adorable and has the best singing voice of NewS, so naturally I was exstatic when I heard about the Tegomass unit being formed!
Just today I was able to find the songs from this single on the net.
The Japanese version of Miso soup sounds great and easy to sing along to if you know Japanese (and probably even if you don't know any).
Hajimete no Asa is also really good. Tesshi and Massu's harmony really stands out in this song. Their voices mesh really well. It's a slow ballad type song, and I really like it.
Chocolate is a somewhat jazzy song.. hmm.. how should I describe it?? Anyway, it's really catchy and like their other songs, very easy to learn and sing along to.
Even though I have their songs already, I can't wait for my copy of this single to arrive. Firstly because I really like this unit and believe they should be supported! And secondly.. because it comes wth a DVD!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Everyone's acting is great and the characters portrayed are very likeable.
