TVB period drama Eternal Happiness pools together rising stars who show great potential. Both young and photogenic, Raymond Lam and Michelle Ye should be the perfect couple, except that Michelle's character is disguised as a man for much of the series, bringing much confusion to the relationship. Michelle appears refreshingly stunning in male costume, no less gorgeous than her usual elegant look. Myolie Wu, Tavia Yeung, Joe Ma, and Kenneth Ma form the strongest supporting cast among recent TVB dramas.

Michelle Ye portrays Li-jun, an intelligent and beautiful girl. Her conservative father believes that girls should stay at home rather than attend school or travel around. Li-jun therefore decides to disguise as a man to study in school, and ends up befriending the kindhearted Huangfu Shaohua (Raymond Lam) and the handsome Tie Mu-er (Joe Ma). To escape from her arranged marriage, Li-jun runs away from home, meeting Tie and Huangfu again on her way. Huangfu remains in the dark about Li-jun's identity, but Tie figures out that she is actually female. Their relationships grow closer yet more complicated over time, especially when Li-jun finds out that Huangfu is her arranged husband-to-be and Tie is actually a royal. Can the three find Eternal Happiness in the end?

雌雄兩迷離 姻緣枉徘徊

孟士元(盧海鵬)為前朝御醫，飽學之士，卻思想守舊，相信女子無才便是德。其女兒孟麗君(葉璇)為求學問，唯有女扮男裝到書院求學，因而認識微服出巡的蒙古王孫鐵穆耳(馬德鐘)及忠直少年皇甫少華(林峰)，三人更結成兄弟。耳看穿了君是女子身份，君對耳亦有好感，但原來華卻是與其有婚約的未婚夫，三人發展了兩段若即若離的感情……

An educated man who used to be an imperial physician, MANG SZE YUEN (LO HOI PANG), nevertheless, is old-fashioned and he believes that girls should stay home. In order to study, his daughter MANG LAI KWAN (YE MICHELLE) dresses up like a boy to attends a school. There she meets an incognito Mongolian Prince. TIT MUK YEE (MA TAK CHUNG), and an upright man named WOMG FU WAH (LAM RAYMOND).

KWAN likes YEE, who sees through her female identity. On the other hand, she finds out that WAH is in fact her proposed fianc? KWAN later has a puzzling affair with WAH and YI respectively...
