Everybody's Tennis (Japan Version) PS2

The popular Hot Shots Golf franchise volleys its way into a brand new arena with their latest release, Everybody's Tennis, a.k.a. Hot Shots Tennis! Even as they exchange golf clubs for tennis rackets, the designers at Clap Handz promise to maintain the same fun-filled action typical of the other games in their well-regarded series. The controls for Everybody's Tennisare relatively simple: circle is used for topspin shots, X for slice shots, and triangle for lobbing. The game demands perfect timing and precise button mashing for success, although not at the expense of the franchise's trademarked whimsical touch. For example, if you hit the ball too fast, a rabbit appears above your character, and if you hit it too slow, you'll find a turtle floating overhead!

In addition to traditional tennis matches, the game also boasts some new features that enhance the standard single player campaign, as gamers have the chance to learn new skills and strategies to diversify their gameplay experience. As with Hot Shots Golf, this game features plenty of cute, likeable characters. You start off with Yuki, a seventeen-year-old power player from Japan, and Elena, a fifteen-year-old Russian. As you work your way through the game's standard "challenge mode", you gradually unlock not only new courts, but up to twelve additional characters. Based on its impressive pedigree, Everybody's Tennis is sure to give both diehard and casual tennis fans the opportunity to experience the same lighthearted sports action players have come to expect from the fan favorite Hot Shots Golf series.
