YesAsia Editorial Description

Exile is back with reinforcements.

After the addition of performer Akira and vocalist Takahiro, Exile returns to the J-pop scene with Exile Evolution. It marks their fifth major album and follow-up to last year's ASIA release. The vocal and dance act this time teams up with Neverland for a brand-new version of the Bubblegum Brothers' WON'T BE LONG which Koda Kumi and the boys managed to take to the No. 6 spot of the Oricon charts in 2006. Other highlights on Exile's latest 16-track CD include Everything from 2006 drama Kazoku ~ Tsuma no Fuzai - Otto no Sonzai ~ ("Family ~ Wife's Gone - Husband's Around") and the CM song Lovers Again for au LISMO.

Pretty Good Album Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
First of all, I'm glad that EXILE is still going on. When I heard Shun was leaving, I thought ASIA would be the last album from this group. Guess not, huh? lolz

Hmm, I think ASIA is better than Evolution, but Evolution isn't bad by any means especially if you're like me and you don't buy singles.

The new material on here is pretty good, but nothing really new. That isn't a bad thing unless you were hoping that the album title meant a big change for the band.

The new vocalist isn't Shun, but he does just fine.

Basically, if you were worried that EXILE would never be the same without Shun, don't be. This album came out just fine.
