Great 2008 Comebeack Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
(Please delete my previous review. The date was off. ^^ Sorry)

I've just recently got into FT Island after seeing Lee Hongki act in the recent korean drama 'Minami Shineyo/You're Beautiful.' I wanted to know more about him and found out that he is an AMAZING singer. His voice really captivated me and it's so strong for his age and he was even younger when he recorded this album!

Sarang Hooae (After Love) and Yoja neun Molla (Girl's Don't Know) were the released singles for this album and both are really good. FT Island tends to make sorrowful love songs and though people find love songs 'typical', they do it SO well for such a young group. I really don't think it's fair to really call them just another 'idol group'. ^^

I must say that I really enjoyed this album (9/10) Tracks 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8 are my favorites.

Track 8 - Sarang Hajimayo (Don't Love) is the most memorable track to me. The lyrics are heart wrenching and Lee Hong Ki's passion truly shines in this track. The piano is SO saddening as it mixes with strings. This song will bring tears to many and I must say that this is a song that once it plays, I can't help to put it on repeat. Even Lee Hongki cried on stage while singing this during a concert. This is a song that I won't be able to let go of. The meaning is so true: "Don't love, heartbreak will always come. It hurts so much that you can't breath. I thought I'd only hurt as much as I loved you... that it'd be okay and I could forget. But no, it hurts a thousand times more..."

Overall, this is an amazing album for FT Island during 2008.

Such an enjoyable album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
It is the first album from F.T Island that I listened to since I just became familiar with the band in last November.
Despite the fact that I don't know Korean (as I come from Hong Kong), I can still feel the power of melody accompanied by the sensibility conveyed by the voice of HongKi, the vocal. (and hence the name, Colorful Sensibility!!)
He is such a talented singer that helps make this album a successful one and I definitely appreciate other members' attempts to involve in the singing section, which engenders positive effects.

I will keep on supporting F.T Island and hope it can gain prominence in Asia in foreseeable future!!
p.s. I have listened to other albums like "Colorful Sensibility (Part 2)" and "The One" as well~~~!

AMAZING Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Mine arrived today along with part 2, The One and First Island concert :D
Though the cover is quite plain and their faces are not on it, the packaging is very nice. Their products always comes with so many pictures and is always packaged more creatively than ALL the other CDs/DVDs that I own. And their music, of course its wonderful. After listening to their debut single "사랑앓이" I was hooked! I love their music style, rock ballads. FT Island is always coming out with great stuff, and I am glad I found out about this wonderful group, and managed to buy everything. Though it has been said many times, Lee Hong Ki's vocals are really amazing. I can't wait to see what they'll come out with next!! FT Island's Primadonna Forever :D !!

Objective critic Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
F.T. Island's first album, Cheerful sensibility, was a smash hit and for a reason. They brought something new to the korean scene with their instruments, raspy vocals and heart-breaking ballads. They were not just a pretty boyband, they were musicians.
When their new album Colorful sensibility came out, I didn't even bother to listen to their songs first before buying it, and now I sort of regret it. The title track 사랑후애 is excellent, like a more mature version of Lovesick. But the rest of the songs are just a dull copy of the songs from 1st album. I can't say this album is bad, but it leaves a bitter taste my mouth since I expected so much more.
I wanted them to plunge into the unknown, just like they did with the 1st album, to explore new genres of music. But sadly, they decided to take the easier path following the recipe that proved successful in Cheerful sensibility.
The packaging of the album on the other side is simply amazing. Innovative, quirky and charming, each member has its own colorful envelope with pictures. Since I don't really know much about them except their names , I can't say that the packaging alone is worth the price, but my rating for this album is definitely higher because of it.
So, in conclusion - if you're a fan, get this.
If you're new to F.T.Island, I suggest buying Cheerful sensibility over this. It's a pity really. This album could be so much better.

Enjoyed this album! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm not a fan of FT Island, that i got to admit. The only song that i liked in cheerful sensibility is 사랑앓이. What made me decided to buy this album is that i managed to listen to the songs before it was out and decided it was nice. i don't regret buying it! Secondly, i do like Lee Hongki's Vocals and i feel he has strong vocals. Another thing which is interesting is the packaging of the album. Its unlike normal albums because it comes in a transparent flimsy plastic box and in it contains different envelopes of different colours. (Therefore the name Colorful Sensibility) In each envelope of different colors, there is a picture booklet of each member. For example, Purple is the cd, Green is Lee Hong Ki, Red is Choi Jung Hoon and so on. I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging and at the same time pleased with it because as a avid collector of cds and a huge love for music, I've never seen anything like that. So am i a fan of FT Island now? Yeas, Maybe.
