새 앨범 ‘피노키오’는 f(x)가 지난 2009년 9월 데뷔 후 처음 선보이는 정규앨범이자 ‘NU 예삐오’ 이후 약 1년 만에 발표하는 새 음반인 만큼, 한국은 물론 f(x)의 컴백을 기다려온 아시아 음악 팬들의 뜨거운 반응이 기대된다.

One Big Treat

At first I was a little annoyed that I had ordered the album JUST before the repackage came out. However, I've come to love the packaging for this one. The photo book is a really cute collection of pictures from their dorms, with added doodles and crayon scribbles to give it a scrapbook feeling. The case literally shines from my CD rack. As for the songs, all I can say is that this CD is perfect. There isn't one song on here that I haven't been addicted to or that I get tired of. My favorites, though, would be Sweet Witches (a peculiar, upbeat track), Love (a brooding but energetic dance song), Stand Up! (a sweet, acoustic song that doesn't let the dance energy drop), and Lollipop. All ten tracks are worthy of praise, though. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite albums, and I have over 60 albums in my collection! I'm still planning to get Hot Summer, but if you are a big f(x) fan then make sure you pick this album up, whether or not you have the repackage. It's nice to have a relatively short album packed with good songs to inject some fun into my day. |

Un gran álbum de f(x)!

Este disco es un gran paso para f(x), es un álbum que tiene canciones bastante ritmicas y baladas realmente buenas, ambos estilos muestran el avance que ha tenido el grupo vocalmente. El disco en si es de tamaño normal, pero tiene cubierta dura y es muy atractiva pues tiene un brillo realmente especial. El rotulado del disco es de lo mejor, pues tiene a las 5 y a color. Las fotos son realmente buenas y se lleva bien con el concepto del álbum y todas salen preciosas. Para ser el primer álbum de f(x) es un muy buen comienzo. No tiene photocard como NU ABO, pero el disco compensa todo. Y si te han gustado las canciones pasadas de f(x), este disco seguramente también te gustará, incluso mucho más. |

Total Awesomeness

OMG this CD is damn pretty! :D It's about the size of a regular jewel case, but it VERY thick and the photobooklet is BEYOND awesome, and it's indeed 100 pages ^^ The case is very glossy and shiny :P I LOVE the title track Danger, but I also love My Style, Gangsta Boy, So into U, Sweet Witches, Lollipop and MANY MORE! :D I think this album is really worth the money ^^ I have ZERO complains on this album, everything was awesome, this is just total awesomeness! ^o^ |

I got Sulli's poster ㅋㅋㅋ. But sadly SM didn't include special random photocard like they usually do :(. And the poster was so huge that I couldn't find a proper space to post it on without making my room look ridiculous :(. But however the poster was really nice and Sul is pretty :3. The packaging design was nice, but I must say I'd prefer NU ABO's packaging over this. Still, on the other hand, Pinocchio has a much much much thicker photobook <3. And the photos are outstanding as always. I always love the animations in f(x)'s photos. They're fresh, colorful and so unique at the same time! How Krystal's name was printed upside-down over her on the CD front was really nice! Like NU ABO, Pinocchio's photobook was also filled with scribbles of the girls' names and songs... And everything! It was really cool in my opinion. The concept this time was lightly similar to NU ABO, but much brighter, cuter and more colorful. Instead of NU ABO's emotionless expressions and funky high-lights on their hair, the girls delivered a much more childish and brightful feeling with soft smiles and light colored wigs in Pinocchio. As always, f(x) brings great visual concept. I love it :) Overall, I think Pinocchio was a perfect debut album for f(x). Totally recommended :). Best for our girls! |
