| song is mediocre. fairyland music is not too good. her singing is usual and ordinary. in beginning they use like electric machine to change her voice this not sound good. she sing this song on program and look too stiff like doll. she must get loosen. the music is not too good. and voice not too good. |

it's alright
| it's alright. the song fairyland seems ordinary. it does not stand out that much. don't get me wrong peeps. everyone is entitled to their opinions. i have watched hamasaki ayumi perform when she first appeared on the japanese music scene ok. and she has been an exceptional singer. but lately she has been churning out stuff that's not all that original. some stuff is actually disappointing. hope she comes out with better stuff. |

Ayu still got it

Fairyland is an very happy and uptempo song and Alterna is very rockish but an amazing song. None of the remixes are any good sadly. The music video for both songs are great and love how she wears so cool clothes all the time. There is also an DVD version wich is great buy. Once again Ayu has made another great collection of songs. |

This single should've been titled "Alterna"
| Yes, "fairyland" is an enjoyable song to lissen to I think "Alterna" is the better song. It's an amazing rock-like song with powerful lyrics. The pv isn't to be either! |

| I bought this single when it came out in August, and I must say that I really enjoy it. Fairyland is a nice song with a summer feeling, while alterna is a very cool rock song. This single also comes with remixes of STEP you and fairyland, which is a bonus! I would recommend getting the CD+DVD version, because unfortunately I didn't and regret it, and the music videos are absolutely amazing. All fans of Ayumi or JPOP fans in general would enjoy this cd. |

great summer single
| fairyland - estremely catchy summer song... alterna - one of best ayu "jem" songs! It's an extra rock-song which sounds cool and has great lyrics! But I think buying the cd-only version of this single is a sin! If you do that you will miss the alterna PV which is just sooo great! I bought this version only to have both covers! And I don't regret doing so! |

Fairyland
| Fairyland is my first single by Ayumi Hamasaki, and I personally think it was a wonderful buy. Fairyland is a fun, emotional track (with a chorus that has a touch of ANGEL's SONG from Memorial address in it). Then, there is alterna, my favorite track on the whole cd, mainly because of the orchestral-like synths in it. There are two remixes; STEP you, and fairyland which are both fun, and then there are the Instrumental versions of fairyland and alterna. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with it. I plan to buy both STEP you/is this LOVE and HEAVEN once HEAVEN is released. Go Ayu |

Ayu takes us to Fairyland!
| I bought this single mostly because there was more tracks than usual. I really don't like Fairyland as much as Step You or Inspire/Game, but it's still a happy catchy song. For some reason it seems Ayu's singles now are very contrasting, containing a happy song and then a darker, depressed or sad song. Fairyland easily gets stuck in your head, but Alterna is a little harder to catch on to. The remix of Step You was definitely something different in keeping with the Hawaiian theme of Fairyland, but the Fairyland remix lacked a little, it was a little more annoying than actually catchy like the original mix. |

| To tell you the truth, I never liked much of Ayu's songs until hearing her album My Story. And this single only satisfied that new hunger! These are REAL good quality songs. Not to mention the cover looks really pretty. I used to think she was ugly, but she's turning into a more beautiful woman now. With that, don't even hesitate to buy this single! It's great! |
