Canto-rap duo Fama started off 2008 with a coup, beating Twins for both the Gold Group and Favorite Group awards at the CR2 903 Ultimate Song Chart Awards. They then ambled their way to the big screen in Barbara Wong's youth film Happy Funeral. With the dates set for their first large-scale concerts at Hong Kong's Star Hall in August, Fama has officially made the leap from indie hip-hop act to mainstream popularity. Gearing up for their concerts, the duo is releasing a new compilation with four brand new songs including latest plug "Raise Your Hands". Striking chords again with feel-good tunes, everyman themes, and tongue-in-cheek rhymes, the album also features 14 selected Fama hits since their debut like crossover duets "Goodbye" and "Wind and Water Rising", plus familiar songs like "Fama is Your Buddy", "Love like Chet Lam", and "No End to Learning".
