Former Cookies member Stephy Tang continues her color fetish on her latest album that she offers in green, red, and yellow sleeve covers. After her previous work Coloring Stephy, the modern Canto-pop princess was busy with 2 film projects. The romantic comedy Marriage With A Fool that teamed her up with Alex Fong Lik Sun especially created lots of sizzling news about the charming star. In the said movie she croons an ode to love called "Perfect Love" together with her co-star. I remember reading a review of this CD, but in another edition. That person had a poor rating for this CD, however I don't see it that way. Stephy has improved a lot from her first album and when she was still a part of Cookies. She actually tried to write her own songs which in my opinion she is trying very hard. You learn from your mistakes in order to improve next time and I support those artists. I think Stephy's album is good, of course still lots of improvements can be made. I'm not a fan of hers, but I think this CD is worth it.

WOW. I know THIS edition isn't out yet, but I am eager for the music videos. I confess I already own the "Red" edition...but that was because I couldn't wait to see if there would be a DVD version and also because I have a cousin who would be DELIGHTED to take the CD-only version because it's so nice. Anyway, Stephy has really, really worked on this release. Her vocals have dramatically improved and sound more mature and strong. She sounds much more sure of herself on this release as opposed to her first "Coloring" CD. As with any release by any artist, there are bad, OK and great tracks. Personally, I LOVED tracks 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10...I liked tracks 5, 11, and 12...I did not like at all track 4. Since most her songs (and my favorites) tend to be piano-based or guitar-based ballads, I will focus on her new genres. Track 4 is caberet and just dull. Track 5 has a 50s style to the music, but it's OK. Track 6 is almost latin in nature, but I like it a lot. Track 9 is extremely retro in beat, but I like it too because it is extremely unique. Track 11 uses a lot of traditional instruments like woodwinds, but it's still quite caberet and not nearly the best song on the release. Track 12 is a duet, but I actually prefer the solo version even though the duet is very romantic. Over-all, I think Stephy has met expectations with this release in her growth and effort. She really took the time to put forth a lot of ability into this CD and I cannot wait to re-purchase this item to obtain the DVD. For anyone wondering if I recommend this: well, I wouldn't buy it twice to only get 4 MVs (1 is just the duet version of another...not really 5 MVs...) if I didn't! This admirable and I encourage anyone who found Stephy's vocals weak or her songs simply "re-done" on her debut to definitely listen to this CD.

the cd has been released for a while..but i recently just heard all of the songs in the album..first off..i like how they're all new songs in this debut..no more unplugged/remakes of her older songs..seconldy..stephy's voice changed dramatically..all of her songs she sang were very high...providing a soft melodious voice..but in my opinion..it gets a bit too annoying..it sounds like she's squeaking..giving me an uneasy feeling...as for the songs..not all of them are very memorable to me...they have much of the same feel..there were new trials (i.e. new genres of music) included..but they're just missing that spark...the songs that really got to me were track 3/12..7 and 10..track 3/11..to begin with has a very nice melody..it really gives a smooth and calm feeling as i was listening to it..the duet verison suits really well for karaoke..as i would like to sing too..track 7 again another memorable smooth/calm feeling as i listen...and track 10..has a nice new feeling..as stephy incorporated many chinese instrucments as the music..and with the melody..they blended well together..and stephy's voice was well delivered...not as high-pitched and annoying as the others..overall..it's another nice try for stephy..hope there's more improvements for her next cd..and songs that will really give a hit

Stephy has a nice soothing voice to accompany her songs. Her songs are nice to listen to, but sorry, most of the tracks are not memorable at all. Tracks 2 and 3 are instant hits. Track 7 has a really messed up melody during the chorus. When I think the chorus is gonna end, she continues on, and ends off with an unsatisfying melody. Track 5 actually has a really nice Jazz tune; it reminds of Kenny G, but unfortunately the Jazz theme just doesn't cut it when you take into consideration of the general sounds produced in HK in the past couple years. As for the rest of the tracks, the instruments are all very nice, but the melodies are very boring. 6/10

 Stephy has improved from her last album! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This album is better than her first album, not to say the first album was bad, but this album has new songs while the first one were mainly Cookies songs that she sang solo. I like the duet she sings with Alex Fong, because I am an Alex Fong fan, I also like the solo version of that song. The rest of the album is alright, not bad. She sounds like she has improved.
